I have never been one to buy "gadgets" as I call them, but getting a wingsuit and wanting to know freefall times, I bought a neptune. I really like my Neptune. After using it, I am impressed. It solved serveral things for me. Freefall times and speeds, a lighted altimeter for night jumps, and time ( I never wear a watch) It has lots of other functions also that I don't use. I don't wear it on tandem jumps for fear that I might damage the display. How do ya like it Johnny?

I bought one a couple of months ago, mostly for bird-man jumps. After taking a close look at it, I decided not to use it on tandems for that very reason. Fear that it might get banged up. How do ya like it Johnny?

I had a triathlon 175 in a J4 and it fit pretty well. I wouldn't recommend trying to put a 150 in a J4 How do ya like it Johnny?

My next rig will be an Aerodyne system. Icon, which in my opinion is a very nice looking, well made rig that is very comfortable, especially over the shoulders. I haven't jumped a vision yet, but I am looking forward to it. How do ya like it Johnny?

1. It helps with the cost of a other wise very expensive sport. It keeps me jumping a lot when I normally wouldn't be able to. 2. I like being part of the DZ. Being a staff member has its benefits. Like getting invited on a really cool demo, and other similar things. A DZO will look out after the people that look out after him/her. 3.It is fun to "re-live" that first jump experience and share somebody elses. How do ya like it Johnny?

I have been tipped 5-6 times in aboiut 400 tandems. Tipping isn't encouraged at our DZ. I do see when I am off on a Scuba trip it is more common for the dive guides to get tipped. If I am on a dive boat, I always tip at least $10 if there is a guide. Tips for TI's are always nice, but not expected. The pay for tandems has pretty much stayed the same since forever, but the jump tickets and prices for tandem have gone up.(at least in the 7 1/2 years that I have been jumping How do ya like it Johnny?

The first time that I walked into the excercise room at the YMCA, where I have now been a member for quite a while, I see a long row of treadmills with some people on them that were doing the right kind of work out, by being on the treadmill. I don't really understand. If some one were financially able to learn to skydive, graduate AFF, buy gear, and make 500 jumps in there first year, why would they even want a tandem rating? How do ya like it Johnny?

I was in Grand Cayman diving all last week. I wanted to do a night dive, but beer-thirst got the best of me. How do ya like it Johnny?

I've only got about 20 or so wing suit jumps. Yesterday I was able to do two, (solo) between jumping tandems. Neptune said 120 seconds on one jump and 118 on the other. Jumping with other people I don't get that much. What are you guys getting? How do ya like it Johnny?

I am in the market for an new AAD, and I am considering the Vigil. It may help me with my decision if I were to physically see one. I do not know of any skydiver at my home DZ that has one. No skydiver that I know has one. Maybe if Vigil were to give me one, I could introduce and promote the product to the Carolinas.......... A group of us traveled with rigs just last weekend. When going through security the TSA people knew instantly that rigs were allowed on. They had already been briefed on parachute rigs. I am sure USPA was behind this. How do ya like it Johnny?
