  1. Hey! They paid me to wash and cook that rock! Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
  2. Speaking of which, I was cooking a bowl of dirt in the microwave a couple months ago, and when I pulled it out, one of the rocks had split and an alien was growing out of it right in front of my eyes! (see cheap camera phone pictures attached) Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
  3. Jim, Did you really just say that your ass is always getting "used" and your package is meant to grow not to show??! Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
  4. Usually hazel, but sometimes they change color for a little while. Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
  5. Aren't two frenchmen in one thread enough dirty nastiness for all of us? Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
  6. Using leopard skin stretch pants to contain 30+ percent body fat. Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)

  8. Welcome to my world! I chose shape-changing. That sounds fun and somewhat useful. Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
  9. Not everything to every person, but I imagine on average it comes close. There are some true shitheads that coast through life and there are some good people who can't catch a fucking break. For the most part though, I think that we can expect to get back approximately what we give. Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
  10. You seem to be countering an argument that I haven't made. I have not criticized anyone for wearing an AAD. I have gotten the impression in my quick dabble into these threads today that people are saying folks who choose to jump without an AAD are exercising poorer judgement than those who choose to jump with them. My example about the kinds of loads I don't go on was merely offered up as a counterpoint to that. A person who doesn't go on a jump that they perceive as having an unacceptably high risk of collision is being a safer skydiver than someone who chooses to go on such jumps provided they have a back-up device. 11. Maybe, maybe not. I didn't know him and won't presume to know his intents. Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
  12. PM me a picture of your boobs and a picture of your ass and I'll do the comparison for you. Why PM????? that's what posts are full! I'm offering her an impartial opinion while letting her keep her modesty. I'm such a giver. Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
  13. PM me a picture of your boobs and a picture of your ass and I'll do the comparison for you. Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
  14. Ass, every time. Nice boobs are fun, but still just a bonus. Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
  15. I thought you were swamped at work! Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
  16. Is that anything like sit-on-a-happy-face? Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
  17. Perhaps. It's not completely cut & dry with me. For the most part, I'm another one of those guys who basically feels that if you won't make the jump without a CYPRES, the correct response is to not make the jump, not to get a CYRPES. The way I've justified my decision to get a CYPRES for AFF is because I've proven to myself I'm willing to make the jumps without one. Waking up one morning and finding myself having reached a different conclusion would make me soul-search pretty hard. Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
  18. His own private forum, "Announcements", now has 99 threads in it. Will #100 be a pie-able offense? Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
  19. Without getting too involved, I'll simply state that I believe the second amendment was added so that the populace would remain sufficiently armed to combat our government should it travel too far down the path to tyranny. Given that premise, I believe it should be legal for private citizens to own the same weapons carried by our troops. Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
  20. I'm not sure, but probably because I'm too close to something similar (well, identical except the "high" benefit part). I do AFF without an AAD. I recognize that the risk of taking a pretty substantial hit is much higher on AFF jumps than on any other type of skydive I do. I decided last fall to go ahead and get an AAD because of this increased risk, and a buddy of mine picked one up for me shortly thereafter. I haven't yet gotten it from him and put in my rig, and I will continue to do AFF between now and whenever I do. Do I fit the bill of this theoretical instructor we're talking about? Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
  21. I don't have an AAD. I don't go on freefly jumps that I expect might get kinda zoo. Who's being more intelligent/exercising better judgement, the people who have AADs and go on those jumps or the people like me who choose to sit them out? Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
  22. It would be tough to skydive without my head attached... or at least to skydive with anything resembling proficiency! Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
  23. You'll have to forgive my possible misinterpretation while trying to read between the lines, but are you insinuating that someone who's willing to do AFF without an AAD is a poorer instructor by reason of his higher risk tolerance? Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
  24. Somebody comes up to Jumper A and invites them on a sequential 100-way. Jumper A's CYPRES is in the shop so he declines. Two months later, he receives the same invitation, but this time his CYPRES is back in his rig so he accepts. You're saying it's illogical to point out that the only difference in the decision trees that produced such dramatically different outcomes was the presence/lack of a CYPRES? Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
  25. What makes you think the risks that can be mitigated by an AAD are non-variable and do not decrease with skill? Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
