I'm 37. For a weekend or two I'd probably go as far as 21-50, but for a "relationship" I doubt I'd go beyond 28-40 unless there was something incredibly exceptional about her. Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)

Of course that would require the Panthers beating the Giants AND Seattle, and the Buccaneers beating Washington AND Chicago. Doesn't seem likely. Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)

The fastest I've been able to cool a beer is by spinning it on a pile of ice cubes. Sure it takes a little effort, but it's WAY faster than just putting it in ice, ice water, or a freezer. Done properly, I'd say 2-3 minutes per beer. That said, the better solution is to just drink better beer that tastes good at warmer temperatures. Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" What's your favorite song for a skydiving video?

Here here, best program I've used to make a copy of a DVD. I'm now shopping/downloading programs to copy my DVDs to a PSP. Any suggestions? Nero7 is $100 ... but the demo I've tried works well. Just pricey. I just installed DVD Shrink a week ago, as well as the Nero7 trial version to enable the integrated burning, and am pretty damn pleased with the results. Any idea how long the Nero trial version will work before it tries to get money out of me? Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)

Watch the tandem instructors at the dropzone(s) you jump at, see which ones consistently land well, and talk to them. Watch the tandem videos, see which instructors are consistently stable immediately after exit, and talk to them. When you notice the instructors who aren't consistently stable or who don't consistently land well, see if you can tell what the differences are in their techniques that you think might contribute to those problems, then ask the better tandem instructors what they think. That's not something I'd have expected to read, but I've seen mention of some post-game comments by him. What was it he said? Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)

Really? I'm sure it was enjoyable for a UT fan, but at the risk of being tarred and feathered, I'll admit I was disappointed in the game...and I don't mean by the outcome. Poor officiating (both ways) and poor decision-making (primarily on the USC side) reigned supreme. Vince Young picked up UT and carried them at the end, but would he have been able to if it hadn't been for the help Pete Carroll provided by going for it on a 4th down from the 21 (what was the margin of victory again? )? Or worse, going for it on 4th down, at mid-field, with 2 minutes left, only leading by 5, when Texas had just marched through his defense on their previous possession? That was the ballgame right there. I thought it was a decent game, but it fell well short of my expectations. Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)

Trolls and their undeserving reputation. Show your support!
livendive replied to funks's topic in The Bonfire
Your naivety is breath-taking. It is precisely these forums that attract new-comers. Trolls confuse people and disrupt topics of discussion, leaving us all wondering, 'What is real?' Tolerance is weakness, people - alligning yourself with these twisted miscreants is a shallow and thinly-veiled attempt to gild yourself with the associated 'cool' of the rebel 'troll'. It's pathetic. Think before you post. Trolls cause more harm than any amount of 'amusement' could make up for. AA Nice work. That one should definitely hook a few. ... and after you pick 'em, she's not so "tight" anymore... It's a trade-off, because she then becomes self-lubricating regardless of how good or bad you are.

You're going down on a woman and you find scabs. Mentioning them would spoil the mood and you wouldn't get laid, so what the hell else would you do with them? Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)

Re: [shunkka] CNN reporting they found 12 miners alive!
livendive replied to JohnRich's topic in Speakers Corner
How many people died as a result of CNN's inaccurately reporting this story? Oh, and welcome to Speaker's Corner. Nice work. Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew) -
Ever done this 1,300 miles into a 1,400 mile trip
livendive replied to dustin19d's topic in The Bonfire
Last winter I lost control of my Tundra on black ice and hit a jersey barrier at a moderate angle at 50ish mph. I was able to pull the front bumper out of the right tire, reattach the headlight assembly with hot glue and bailing wire, and continue with my trip (750 more miles to home, including a couple mountain passes). Damage was $6300, insurance fixed it. A couple weeks ago, I *again* lost it on ice with the same truck(), went off the road sideways at 60 mph spun it around a few times and came to a stop somewhat stuck. 4-low got me out of there and I haven't noticed any trouble with it since. Note both the front and rear bumpers were jammed full of dirt, rocks, and sagebrush...what does that tell you about the direction I was travelling off-road? Lessons learned - Don't drive on ice except when unavoidable. If I have the slightest inkling that what looks like a wet road is actually a skating rink, I'll slow down and put it in 4WD. If USC tries to follow their start-slow-then-come-back pattern in this game, Texas will win. I just don't think the Trojans have another late 4th quarter squeaker left in them. But if they start playing like they're capable of on the opening drive, it will be a USC rout. I know the 7.5 points is basically just an over-under line, but it ain't gonna be close to the outcome. I'm guessing it'll either be Longhorns by less than a touchdown or Trojans by more than 20. Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)

If I hadn't cancelled at the last second, I was going to have to drag the two of you on a certain jump with me

I think it's going to be a VERY entertaining game.

Just an FYI - the USPA isn't just "suggestive" in the state of Nevada. See here. Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)

But there wasn't in Eloy until Beth showed up? Wait, don't answer that. I REALLY shouldn't have cancelled that plane ticket! Blues, Dave "I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
