  3. But seriously since 9/11 i must have carried my rig on 30+ flights, most of the time in the open and never had a problem and only about 3 questions about it.
  4. Just dont put it on half way through the flight and fun down the aisle shouting"The wings on fire! The wings on fire!!"
  5. Born in England ,moved to Malaysia when i was 6 months, lived there till i was 13 then back to England.I then lived in France for three years, then on yachts between the Caribean and the med then Ft lauderdale and now in Western Colorado, but most of my work is in the Gulf states.
  6. I carry my rig on every time i fly which is about 3 or 4 times a month and have never had any questions asked.I remove the knives( i have 3).Sometimes i carry it in a bag and sometimes i just have it over my shoulder.I sometimes get comments but i have never had any probs.

  10. I have a jump suit that i have worn once, i had to buy it cause i was drunk, but i dont like it.So im giving it to worthy person. It is a tony RW, no booties, kind of beige with pink and turquoise(chick colours). It will fit anyone arround 5,5 to 5,8 160 to 180LBS.So write me and tell me why you are worthy and i will send it along. If i can find a pic i will post it.
  11. Well if anyone is near the Western slope in colorado they are more than welcome to come and stay,Just us and the two BIG dogs.
  12. Wire strike protection kits generaly dont work below 50kts airspeed. This is one reason that we dont use them, and we are in the powerline repair business. They also will be totally ineffective against a transmission line, unless you just hit the overhead shieldwire.I hit a small 7000volt line last year with a hughes 500 and it was quite exciting for a while.I was lucky in that all i did was bust the windshield, one blade and my swashplate were also taken out, but we landed upright and all walked away. These things are generally 50/50 as to if you survive or are killed.
  13. Hmmmm im only an hour away
  14. Oh a bit of everything ,im kind of bored with belly flying now, moving on to faster things.I think its time for B.A.S.E.Right now im so depressed im contemplating hacking my head off with a large knife just for something interesting to do.

  23. From what i know of FBO's who rent, if you get caught you will never rent there again. Also i would get a few more hours after your Private before you even attempt to try flying jumpers.Just my opinion,as a helicopter pilot i am always being asked to fly jumpers, Sometimes i do, sometimes i dont, but dont let anyone pressure you into doing something you are not ready for....just like skydiving.
