Alright Lisa, I so know how it feels! Congratulations! I'll be up in a week or two to pick up my rig so I'll bring a celebratory something!!

Wife out of town : 5 : 0 It was fun to shake the rust off with 5 fun RW jumps. Spent some good quality time chatting with Lisa watching the sunset, etc.. I always feel like I'm returning home when I head out to the DZ. Only interesting thing that happened was I was sweating my lines on my main knowing they were due to be replaced and sure enough I had a really effed up opening on the last load which resulted in a broken inside C line. I was able to fly it and flare so I didn't chop it but I knew they were due so on every opening I was ready and sure enough... Davis has a really good thing going on up there. 4 way gives me such a hard on, even if it's soft 4 way instead of hard core... Peace...

Why the Jets, is the only thing I can't tunderstand. Being a die hard niner fan my whole life I have heard many interviews with Joe Montana who said after so many years with the niners that it was kind of nice to have a new perspective and a fresh start when he went to K.C. I bet it makes something you love but been doing for a long long time more exciting, like it's new again. Like jumping out of a new airship or new DZ. But the Jets? Would have been fun to see him in Tampa with Gruden. He's still a better QB than many in the NFL so why not play another season if the opportunity is there.

yeah why cause my skydivengrish aint so good right now? Hahha, look forward to seeing you soon. Peace..

Why do some jumpers think it is okay to lean on others in the jump plane?
Sebazz1 replied to AdamLanes's topic in The Bonfire
I try to be respectful in the plane and do my my best but seriously I subconciously lean back on takeoff to keep those CG's forward, you know subconcious and shit, them planes sceer me... I was a TM for many years too so you kind get used to being a recliner.. man or woman snuggle up, I'm sceered, protect me!!!... -
Beer and additional goodies will be brought. And then you can tell me what heck Monkey Boy is talking about...

Used Cars, Banks, Police and the Great Domino Effect. (Long)
Sebazz1 replied to Thanatos340's topic in The Bonfire
When shit really hits the fan and your blood pressure and temper are about to erupt, just stop, sit down, open up a cold beer and really try put it in prospective everything that has happened and know that this will work out and one day it will be a good I got fucked story to tell around the bonfire. That's a real muther effer, but it'll work out. -
The sound was amazing and Perry was absolutely on. I wish they played longer but I have no right to complain. Janes is hands down one of my favortie bands. Anything that Perry has been associated with has my attention too. I did find a web site and heard a few of the Satelitte Party songs, I may go download them later to my IPOD. I am going to look into "Deconstruction, Dave Navarro's solo "Trust No One" released in 2001, Farrell's solo album, and Navarro's current band, The Panic Channel" Not familiar I don't think. It's too bad Perry is such a druggy but alas I think he gets a lot of his craetivity and energy from the drugs. Rock the fuck on baby!!

Totally random, I showed up at the Red Rock in Vegas last week and they were not on any web site or any publication but regardless Saturday night Perry Farrell and Navaro played for 30 minuites at the Red Rock in Vegas. I was knee deep in the pool drinking beer and they frikken rocked!! Too short but still a pleasant surprise. Anyone know anything about "Satellite Party Project"? -Seb

It was a fun jump amongst some friends and let's just say everyone on the load knew there was going to be a premature deployment except for Monkey, and really Monkey is one of the few people you know wont come kick you ass after a stunt like that and actually buy you a beer

I used to know a lot of good people on this site. Maybe they're all dead or quit.

I did my first jump in Aug 1997. I couldn't afford to skydive but I figured out ways to do as many as I could and plodded along. Ultimately I had to make the sport pay for itself in order to keep doing it. I was so addicted to jumping that I just had to be on as many loads as effin possible. For 5 and half / 6 years between 2000 and 2005 I was at the DZ 50 weekends a year every Saturday and Sunday at 8am ready to bust my ass doing tandems, AFF's, anything. I also worked Mon thru Friday at my wuffo regular job so I was on the go 7 days a week for almost 6 years! Obtaining my tandem rating, aff rating and finally pro rating were awesome challenges and made me very proud and confidant in myself. The successes in skydiving translated to successes outside of skydiving too. Students always came first to me just as I would expect to be treated and was when I first started and I have some unbelievable memories that will never fade. I learned so much from these amazing people that trusted me. There were a few goobers too but hey it is what it is. I have met and jumped alongside some amazing instructors as well. I needed the $$ for years to supplement my jumping and income but life has changed as I get older and more established in the real world, my priorities have changed. For a weekend warrior I thought my 1,000 + tandems and 300 + aff's are a pretty cool accomplishment. I will never ever sell my gear and I intend to stay a USPA member forever. I want to really make an effort to go spend a day here and there at the DZ just going out and fun jumping and hitting up local boogies when they're around. My wife encourages me to go, it's just that the sleep in the morning that I used to get by without is valuable these days...

How about a basejumper.com vs dropzone.com rumble?
Sebazz1 replied to freeflymickey's topic in The Bonfire
I disagree, I think it would be lame. -

This is not a response to any post in particular but having two parents who speak english as a secong language I know that certain types of humor or sarcasm in English/American do not translate as so very often. Mis-communication is all this is.

Vancouver, British Columbia is my favorite city. My wife's family is from B.C. and most of them live in or around Vancouver so I have visited many many times and been to just about every area. Having grown up mostly in the country or away from big cities I usually don't fare well when in them and I get a little clausterphobic. Vancouver to me is beautiful and clean compared to many other cities I have visited. One can be right at sea level watching float planes come in and go and simultaneously see beautiful snow capped mountains surounding you. The city is vsually beautiful with so much to see, awesome restaurants and good clean air coming in off the north pacific. They have great local beers, good sports and you can be out of the city into the wild in no time. Plus you can hop on a ferry with your car and head over to Vancouver Island fairly easily too. I need to mention Stanley Park and Granville Island too as those are must go to places. Vancouver would be my first choice, followed up by Portland... I am very biased towards the whole northwest though. I just feel it in my bones, it feels natural and like home to me. My wife and I are discussing moving north within the next few years or maybe sooner. We are bidding are time for the right opportunity. Cheers, -Seb

I have heard that waxing is most definately the way to go. The most painful and also the most effective.

I've had dirt bikes when I was younger, a crotch rocket and then a cruiser for a few years. I don't have a bike right now but I have been looking around for something around town... Maybe even a zippy little scooter to ride to work. http://www.autoblog.com/2006/05/15/piaggio-mp3-three-wheel-scooter

Sugar or maybe some sugar water... Something sweet will kill the heat in your mouth not sure about on the skin though.
