i remember seeing something on tv a few years ago like that. it was a little skateboard sized contraption that was mounted under the front of the police car. they got lined up behind the guy, lowered this thing down, small rocket motors ignited and the thing accelerated away from the patrol car and under the target car. there was a high capacity capacitor or something and some metal 'fingers' on the contraption that rubbed the bottom of the car it ran under and the capacitor discharged though the 'fingers' into the target car, instantly frying any onboard electronics, including the ignition. instant shutdown of the car, end of chase. also, isn't there a component of 'on-star' that can limit the top speed of a vehicle via sattelite? awesome flick, amazing skydives... the da vinci canopy bit kinda blew me away, the base jumps were incredible, the freeflying was ... (running out of adjectives!) anywho, i saw it in hull quebec, twice on one training trip! i'll be going again next time if it's still playing. different schools for kindergaten, 1,2,3 (returned to the school from grade 2 after a month or so), 4, 5-8, 9-10, 11-12. so that's 8 all together. add one university and one community college and we have a nice even 10. all the changes were due to moving around southern ontario, nova scotia and new brunswick. well, i drove a truck for 10 years, then went back to school and got into IT... why not try it the other way around? lots of travel, chances to jump at new dz's, nobody looking over your shoulder all day (well, most fleets have sattelite tracking, but they aren't physically looking over your shoulder!).... i'm seriously thinking about getting back into it in another 5 or 6 years, as soon as the kids are gone. i read a story one time (dave barry perhaps?) that explained that babies have a different digestive system than adults. the stomach is used to store material for projectile vomiting, and they have a sixth sense that can detect a suit, cashmere or your last clean shirt. anything that goes in the mouth goes straight through and ends up in the diaper. babies actually get all of their nutritional requirements by osmosis. so what you see in the picture, is a hungry child getting their daily allotment of nutrients, absorbed directly through the skin.
