[politically incorrect mode] Andrew Dice Clay quote: "I don't get homosexuals.. I mean, how can you look at some guy's hairy ass and think, Oh yeah, I gotta have me some of that!" [/politically incorrect mode] just to throw my bit in, i agree with the "some people are born gay (my brother-in-law is a good example) and some are that way by choice. no right, no wrong, just different. i don't understand the hostility some people have against gays, like clay said, leaves more chicks for the rest of us! i've always looked at sexual preference the way i look at religion, you go to your church, i'll go to mine, don't try to get me to go to yours, i won't try to get you to come to mine. nothing succeeds like a budgie with no teeth

i think it varies with airlines. not that i have a rig, but out of curiousity i sent an email to air canada asking what their policy was. their first reply was that 'diving gear' was fine as carry-on. i sent back another email clarifying that i was talking about 'skydiving gear (as in a parachute)' and here is their reply: TitleAt 03/26/2002 05:23 PM we wrote - Thanks for visiting our site and please accept our sincerest apologies for this late response. If the sky-diving equipement is within the allowed carry on weight and measurement then it can travel onboard otherwise it will travel as checked baggage. bottom line, check first and avoid surprises. another thing to keep in mind, if you do check it, the insurance coverage for it is probably limited. aircanada covers up to $1500, or $2500 if you purchase additional coverage. nothing succeeds like a budgie with no teeth

this is probably because our kids' parents (us) are more knowledgable and tolerant than our parents were, and our kids learn from us, combined with what they see in society. our grandkids will probably be more tolerant than our kids. when i was younger, you were different form other kids if your parents were divorced. nowadays it's so common for a kid to have one parent with or without a step-parent that it's not really an issue anymore. given time, the sexual orientation of the parents won't matter any more either. i think that if a gay couple meets all the requirments that straight couples do that they should not be discriminated against. nothing succeeds like a budgie with no teeth

i checked there, but i'm a little leery of buying something for over $20k from an individual. i'd rather pay a little more for something waranteed from the dealer, and backed up by the manufacturer. besides, i checked that and there was only one listed east of montreal, happened to be in town at a dealer about a mile from my house, but was gone before i got there. nothing succeeds like a budgie with no teeth

actually, the two available now that i'm looking at are both 318i's. they are both from a dealer and are covered under the bmw certified series plan, which gives you, among other things, a five day money back guarantee, 6 year /120000km waranty, and roadside assistance. i'm not going to be looking seriously until july/august so these may be gone by then. descriptions are here and here thanks for the feedback! nothing succeeds like a budgie with no teeth

i agree... i think most actors are overpaid for what they do (stand here, say this, look surprised CUT!!! get the stunt double in here...) i think the guys that do the effects and whatever they call the guys who figure out how to get the camera in the position the directors want should get more recognition. but then again, maybe they don't want it either. I mean, look at the 'bullet-time' from the matrix (and the opening sequence in swordfish)... what an imaginiative and brilliant use of technology! nothing succeeds like a budgie with no teeth

yup! actually, i think that's a common thing anywhere it snows. i think newfoundland substitutes fishing for skydiving though. j/k! nothing succeeds like a budgie with no teeth

4:0:0 q - what do you do all summer in the maritimes? a - we f#ck and we skydive q - what do you do in the winter? a - we don't skydive. if it ever stops snowing long enough i will get to work on the second two numbers. lots of pre-second events coming up this summer. i think i'll just save up for a keg! nothing succeeds like a budgie with no teeth
