Can anyone advise whether the contractors in Iraq are classified as 'real soldiers' or civilians. Example, contractor is accused of prisoner abuse, without a formal order or guidance trail, does he receive military justice, or civil justice? I just want to know, so lets try and stay off the whole right and wrong of this hypothetical situation, please. Cheers, and thanks in advance.

Yup, I jumped one at Paraclan (Friokheim pronounced freak-em) in Scotland. Climb rate....you'd be faster climbing a ladder. Take-off speed...it does seem to float at a scary low speed. Door was similar to a DC-3. A novelty and one for the log book, relatively comfortable (by UK standards) but little else to praise this flying tractor from a jumper's point of view. I v'e hauled compact flash, SD media sticks (sony), portable hard drives, mini DV and analogue tapes, and key fob USB storage through x-ray machines without any hassles.
