Ole Mother Earth is susceptable to various minor changes that have far reaching repercussions, eg change of sea currents El Nino affecting both sides of the Pacific (as Jas rightly points out) for example. The ice caps drive the oceans currents and weather systems, fuck with the ice caps and the consequences are far reaching. Say the land locked ice around the poles is reduced, potentially the sea levels rise globally, goodbye Florida and much of south Texas. An extreme example, but hey, who knows? BNow then, I'm suggesting that the Earth can't tolerate a little abuse, or that the se effects wouldn't vary anyways, but there is growing correlation between mankind's tampering, and climate change on a global scale..... I own both a Sabre, and a Spectre. Both loaded at about 1.6 ish lbs/sqft I prefer my spectre. It maybe because its newer, and my sabre is still with Slappie on long term loan....But hey, you asked for a preference between the two, and my advice is go with the spectre. However support for this war, or the apparent reason for it, is in serious decline. Most people here don't believe that Saddam being a 'very bad person' is sufficient cause to risk the lives of our people for. I understand there are a lot of Americans who feel the same way. And its not just about the oil itself, I suspect Saddam will exercise a scorched earth policy (if the war is really about oil, I would!), as he did in Kuwait. The rebuilding of the oil and gas infrastructure will provide a massive boost for companies both in the US and the UK. Video cameras don't have USB2 connections on them yet, so I'll stick with firewire, which is plenty fast for video editing.
