'Pro-life' is hypocritical bullshit, Mike Huckabee is a typical redneck and feel free to cry some more with strawman 'I thoughts' and other nonsense. Honestly, you need to apply more critical reasoning skills. On the one hand there is Darius - and internet user name and on the other hand there is Huckabee - a real person's surname. Then there is me using the terms 'redneck' and 'surname'.

    How are they not? If you have an ailing power structure and your choices whittle down to start disintegrating or delay with some good old fashioned primary resource stealing what do you choose? We just had a good example this decade. I am sure it is slowly down hill but institutional power tends to grasp tooth and nail to anything as it sinks.

    Michael Hudson is a smart bloke but the overall hypothesis of the article I just don't believe at this stage. The US is still the worlds most powerful country and has the largest military force I'm sure if all it takes is a few million dead people to climb back to the top they will.

    Your personal opinion reeks of immaturity. Cannabis was found in 2000 or something year old coffin (forgive my ruined cannabis memory) just several weeks ago, it made general interest news on several television stations. You putting smoking cannabis down to a Western 'high school' youth based trend like you insinuated incorrectly earlier (amongst other blatantly incorrect statements) pretty much rules out every sociological aspect about it. Your other two points in the above quote are also not 'facts'. They effect some people in that way - not a majority.
