  1. Well you can call it that if you like but it only highlights you don't know what you're talking about. Employees? Becoming clear you don't know anything about this subject.
  2. Defense = first strike? That seems consistent with the 'logic' in your arguments. The USSR called itself democratic therefore by your stupidity they were. Since we're speaking of stupidiy...this has WHAT to do with a missile defense system, again? "Defense = first strike?" - A label and actual functioning are different. So prove your point - as with dreamdancer, just because you SAY it's a first strike system doesn't make it so. The onus isn't on me to prove the point because it isn't mine - it is the point of every serious analyst of every defense, intelligence and political based journal I have read. You need to pick up a source of information that doesn't arrive through a television or local news agency. The fact you think it is some wild claim reflects, as usual, that you chose to read very little about the world around you.

  5. 2. Followed a domestic custom with a dictator and US best friend 3. The president of Nicaragua 4.5. So? 6. And the rest of the world. 7. If you ignore UN findings. 12. A first strike weapon as understood by everyone. 15. Probably based on a sound intelligence report. 17. While continuing US violence. 18. It is. 21. aka torture. 22. Pretty funny. 23. But does the exact opposite and no one in Europe thinks that 'Muslims' are out to get them - this bit must be the imagination of a fucking idiot. 24. Terrorist Hamas against terrorist Israel.
  6. The bigger picture says that showing compassion has been remarkably ineffective with our enemies in the Middle East. We turn the other cheek, like Jesus did, and we get killed for it. Reagan's mantra was right - peace through strength. Yeah constantly propping up brutal dictators is turning the other cheek and butchering Latin peasants is strength - in the mind of a fucking idiot.
  7. All architects of the US invasion of Iraq should be subject to international criminal procedures which in a fair and just world would result in a lot of hangings but in reality would result in a lot of ignoring and vetos.
  8. Its easier to look at than children in 15 different pieces from unmanned drones but then self serving propaganda usually is.
  9. There aren't any confusing messages in this thread - killing innocent people is terrorism for everyone and we do the most of it unless you wear glasses of Western exceptionalism. Wow, talk about an outright LIE. If you had any idea how much planning and effort goes into minimizing civilian casualties, youd be gobsmacked. I didn't say civilian I said innocent people which includes regular people of any geographical location - no matter how perverse you may find their beliefs, culture, etc - who pick up arms when someone else invades their land. What kind of climate do you imagine being violently subjected to foreign interest creates?
  10. A recurring theme I have found. I would have to agree. The hypocrisy reaches near ridiculous levels which is ironic given the account of hypocrisy in the gospels and the amount of Jesus lovers we also have floating around.
  11. I know both of you didn't just miss the underlying tone of that.
  12. Naive Quade and Billvon. Don't you realise it wasn't a massive stumble and almost crash of the global economic order but rather collective negative thinking by the domestic US media.

  14. No, its for idiots who lack a basic level of understanding with regards to both history and the world around them. I've had to avoid replying to most of your points regarding the PA issue - but I'd still like to carry on the discussion - without the PA's. It's this last point that interests me. In an ideal world, people wouldn't join the military, there wouldn't be a need for a country to have a military. Perhaps we'll one day evolve into such a scenario throughout the world but I'm not exactly holding my breath. Do you feel this way towards the police? The law? To any authoritive figure? Anyone who wields power over you? Your employer? What feeling is that? I imagine a great many of them do and the ones with a moral compass which is actually working resign. Just like many stupid people throughout history. Not equally. A couple. Only for a moral relativist and a hypocrite. This of course again highlights that you cannot actually follow an argument. It doesn't matter how bad the Taliban are - a fundamental part of you not understanding what other people are saying.
  15. NATO didn't initiate international terrorist threats and bombings against Afghanistan, the US did. You are welcome. Not just mine. Errico; if you're wishing to put your support of the Taliban into some action, why not do some entertaining for them on a thursday night: http://sheikyermami.com/2008/06/22/afghanistan-thursday-night-is-boyz-night/ I'm sure they'll appreciate it, and you can tell them what pieces of shit your fellow country men are as well. We have already covered this and it boils down to your child-like ability to read and comprehend other people's views. At no point have I voiced any support for the Taliban and if anything, over the course of several threads, I have pointed out that I feel the exact same about the Taliban as I do Western intervention forces. You consider it a PA because you are a hypocrite unable to even register the views of other people in the world. Western military men and women who invade and occupy other people's lands are pieces of shit and no better than the Taliban or non-state terrorists. It's the fact you cannot understand this and the fact that for you 'terrorism' is only the violence 'they' do to 'us' that leads to the stupidity of equating my position as that of support for the enemy. No, its for idiots who lack a basic level of understanding with regards to both history and the world around them.
  16. Welcome to the relationship that exists between almost all power structures in the last 200 years and the people they get to do their fighting and dying. People who invade and occupy other people's land are pieces of shit and I respect their crying for equipment about as much as I respect a terrorist crying that he has to use fertilizer for a bomb instead of pre-made c4 blocks. The sacrifice of either means nothing to me. It is directed at the people who deserve it - the foreign troops in Afghanistan deserve every bullet that pierces their deteriorating Kevlar and underfunded uniforms.
  17. Ok... Boohoo my friends are dying or losing three of their limbs because we joined a nation state military and then invaded other people's land. Suck it up or don't join.
  18. Yes is is and he is glad they were killed. Welcome To Errico's screwed up world. Of course he will never tell people who he is so that they will never know what he really thinks of others. Foreign military occupiers can expect nothing else but a bullet and I'm glad when they get it. Be it British troops in Afghanistan or the Chinese in the USA during some dystopian future. The difference is I actually stand by my principles - I can't imagine you cheering on the Chinese when they start beaching in California with lofty rhetoric about democracy while their unmanned drones kill thousands. Dry your eyes.
  19. I get by ok in the education department but the fact you cannot even take on board the perspectives of others, a fairly simple and rational skill taught at a high school level, would indicate you would be a more likely candidate for homework. If foreign troops were in Ireland, and they have been, I did not and would not support them. I will leave you to consider whether or not you are a pathetic hypocrite or principled advocate of foreign occupation. Oh no wait... there is more... I am pretty sincere. I am glad when those who militarily occupy the lands of others, die. You don't seem to be able to get past your own, and more than likely nationalist and racist, attitudes and even understand the views of other people in the world. How could anyone say such a thing about brave young handsome white Irish men? Are the primary characteristics of Chinese soldiers in the West provinces 'brave' and 'young' when they open fire on minority groups? Were the Indonesian boys 'young' and 'brave' when they entered Timor 30+ years ago and culled half the population? No, those aren't the primary characteristics are they? Soldiers are only 'young' and 'brave' when they are YOUR soldiers. Luckily for me its not too often I encounter a moron who considers Western forces occupying rural parts of Central Asia somehow equating to the freedom of regular people. FYI seeing as you are such a bright spark - I don't admire the Taliban - but you, i.e. someone who fails to understand that people don't all think the same, probably can't understand anything beyond the 'with us or against us' mentality.
  20. Their personal characteristics and age are irrelevant to their primary role as foreign military occupier - so yes you are reading me right, good.
