  1. Just to continue the discussion on the rank hypocrisy of the U.S drug "war" . Across the board U.S trade agreements with Asia stipulate that the U.S must be able to sell and freely advertise cigarettes, one effect of this includes an estimated 50 million dead by 2020 in China alone.
  2. or maybe its because the U.S is just as fundamental as Iran
  3. That is one technical and innovative setup. 15 years.... land of the free right?
  4. Why do you need to carry a gun around? It is hard enough trying to remember phone, wallet and keys before you walk out the door. Unless you live in the shitest area of town, are continuously outside on foot flirting with danger in that area, presumably the area has high mugging rates, you don’t need a gun in the street.
  5. But yet here you are posting away about something you dont have a clue about Well I would say six years of study about society as a whole gives me a clue, atleast enough to make an initial comment on not isolating single causes, which is all I did. But if you want to follow me around trolling you go right ahead.
  6. I already agreed, to that extent there is "free press". I guess my gripe is with "free press" not equating to an informed population or the fact that free press is as useful as no press at all when not taken advantage of
  7. What are some examples of media that isn't either/both 1 & 2 as you describe above? Having to ask this question should be, and probably is, a testament to your love of Zionist propaganda websites. To expand on what I have already said... Medical journals, science journals, etc. In terms of breaking news some sources are better than most, BBC for big media isn't the greatest but is a lot better over CNN, FOX all those ridiculous corporations. Worldpress, Domestic non-profit channels, labour sources, grass roots organizations. If you want a direct example... http://www.worldpress.org/ To even suggest corporate media the likes of which dominate the U.S is on the same page as that would be laughable. Are you claiming that is unique to the US? To an extent it very much is. It isn't unique so far as many countries have corporate media. It is unique so far as how powerful and dominating it is on U.S public opinion. The inoculated part? yes amongst western countries it is defiantly at the top of the list for looking inward. Don't take this as a case study, and I hate when people themselves do it as if it proves a point, but upon visiting the U.S every single person, myself included, is astounded at how ignorant you would be of the world if all you did was watch American TV. Where do you live? If your claim isn't controversial, then why is everyone not with you? Outside the U.S & probably because there are about ten people in the conversation. No but I could open up a can of worms about how you don't live in a free or democratic society To an extent that is true and commendable, for instance the release of secret documents every 30 years, but I think you are carrying a naive version of how "free" or independent big media is from those who own it and the state itself. Watergate VS cointelpro for example Although its hard to have games like this on the internet because people cheat with a google search and then pretend to know the answer, lets try it anyway... Who did the U.S attack and kill end Jan/early Feb this year... surely it was all over the news right?
  8. I like Kosher delis Me too, I also like jewish people, have jewish friends, and am not an Arab. But bullshit is bullshit, zionism is zionism, and referencing bullshit zionism propaganda websites and calling them the "truth" when the majority of scholars or anyone with the ability to criticaly evaluate something would laugh at it, is brainwashed.
  9. Moderate to the extent they were only concerned with Islamic law for Arab countries. So the enemy of your enemy is your friend, you give them weapons and training, set them up as the dominate force of the country, and then walk away for a dozen+ years and all of a sudden we are meant to believe you give a shit about Afghanistan? Removing the Taliban from power is not even close to a justifiable answer for invading Afghanistan nor is it actually a real reason at all. You(the government) wanted(had to appease population and show dominance to global community) to get "Al-Qaeda" - a terrorist group, so you attacked a country subsequently killing heaps of innocent people, as usual. Justified war isn't good war... The U.S stayed in Europe and rebuilt economies and defended everyone out of the kindness of their heart...lol Next you will be claiming you saved everyone in WW2 as well...
  10. You mean the events widely accepted by everyone who can take a critical look at the actions of all parties involved instead of feverishly defending U.S/Israeli aggression and studying zionist propaganda? Congratulations, you have pasted two of the most bullshit loaded sites on the internet and you are brainwashed by zionism.
  11. Sorry, but you do not seem to want to. So be it Its fairly hard when you don't explain a single thing you say when asked to and just drivel on about "their leaders" and post a link to the fox network. But hey I will ask a third time, feel free to explain what it is your talking about. Keep asking. I don't have the time to pull the info (AGAIN) for someone wanting me to do the research for them and then bask the sources. So not only does that not make sense but also you have lost this arguement.
  12. this is precious - 3000+ people from all over the world 'had it coming' good for you No there is a difference in what I said and what you infer. I at no time said the victems 'had it comming' or I would have been more likely to use the words 'deserved it'. I said the U.S, the nation itself, had terrorist attacks from some group of people they had previously pissed off comming, of which there are many.
  13. How is that better? Both sides have their bad but Israels actions easily outweigh those of the arab people Its Israel occupying lands (violently) Its Israel with thousands of prisoners in their dungeons Its Israel with U.S helicopters blowing up half of neighbouring cities
  14. LOL wow... I will get to these later on The Taliban you were best mates with around the time of Grenada? The guys you gave all the training and guns to? and subsequently set up as the dominating force of the country? That aside... What is justified in invading Afghanistan even if you hadn't given the Taliban all your help previously? Their country, not yours. Al-Qaeda, a group of terrorists, is not Afghanistan…group of people……country……..group of terrorists...sovereign nation… What about the little scenario pre-invasion? It went something like this U.S - Hand over these people we suspect of being terrorists Afghanistan - Ok we are willing to do that if you show us some evidence U.S - I don't think you heard us, its sanction time International relief agencies - These unwarranted sanctions are about to kill millions of already starving people, this is completely atrocious. U.S - Whatever time to blow some shit up and also commit some war crimes in fallujah. Also your comments on 9/11 seem indignant, it is terrible and WRONG when any innocent people die, but given the track record of U.S foreign policy you had it coming. I am from one of your brown nose friendly countries and a different type of bombing to what you are thinking
  15. There is free press to the extent there are independent journals, papers and magazines which roughly only 10-15% of the population use as a news source. Big business is not the free press and that is where over half the population get their only news information from, so no I would argue the U.S have no free press so far as the majority is concerned. Could you give some examples of major international news that should be reported in the US, but is being ignored by the mainstream media? You're request seems irrelevant… how does me providing a list to you rule out corporate media being 1. A tool for the owners and 2. Entertainment with the goal of viewer counts for advertisement revenue It is 4am here but off the top of my head... Anything that goes on in Latin America, Africa and the majority of Europe... to an extent you could actually say anything that goes on outside the U.S. I could probably draw up half a dozen actual events in the day time but it seems unnecessary, the majority of American "news" is incredibly inward focused and inoculating. I am guessing you live there.... I dunno... Read manufacturing consent or something...this isn't really a ground breaking or controversial claim we are talking about…

  17. You can't isolate single causes in an issue that is so complex. If anything it is not just a collective list of things but the culture and society of the U.S as a whole. I won't even go into trying to explain it because im not interested, don't know and you could probably write a book on it but needless to say for contrast look at any other country with similar gun laws, harry potter publication laws, etc and low murder rates.
  18. There is free press to the extent there are independent journals, papers and magazines which roughly only 10-15% of the population use as a news source. Big business is not the free press and that is where over half the population get their only news information from, so no I would argue the U.S have no free press so far as the majority is concerned. How many level up points did the grand dragon give you for this? You will be lynching people in no time
  19. 0.01%... The vast majority of actions committed by U.S soldiers as a collective are atrocities. The freedom that others (U.S) have provided? With the exception of WW2 maybe you can give some examples of these fairytale wars you have waged for freedom?
  20. Sure it is trolling and an exageration for the individual actions of soldiers...but fairly true as a metaphor in the broader context of U.S foreign policy.
  21. What does that bunch of crap have to do with your assertion there is no free press in the US? Try this for a view from the other side: http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/myths/mftoc.html Yay zionist bullshit. That documentary aside the idea that the US have 'free press' for anything other than independent journals and magazines is hilarious.
  22. Remove their targets? Have you been paying attention? Since when were suicide bombers restricted to Iraq? How do you remove the western world? Well firstly the 'western world' is a misleading blanket term and 'terrorists' are not throwing their lives away to get the 'western world'. The Arab world is pissed off, and rightfully so, because the UK and US ('western world') have been arse fucking them for over a century. No one is jealously blowing themselves up over, 'freedom', 'democracy' or any other bullshit buzzword which is ironically limited in both western countries perpetrating the violence. You had better take a look and see what their leaders are saying. Your post proves you have not listened to them. "Their leaders" and "them" are who? Zarqawi? Osama? Yeah... they were fed up with U.S interference in the Arab world, they said it over and over again. Present day Iraq or the occupied territories? Well try living in a society with a foreign occupying force that keeps killing everyone, you will soon get fed up. Bali, London tube and Spanish metro? Maybe with a stretch you could say they were ‘Islam destroying the west’…a stretch being that they were isolated events by a tiny group of (british national and south east asian) idiots. Hardly a representation of Islam or even violent Arabic Islam. Go look at what the leaders were saying befor Bush, before Iraq, hell before Bush the 1st. You may get your eyes opened (if you care to take the chance) So you don't define who "they" are or who they're "leaders" are and then you tell me to "open my eyes". THEN you paste a fox news link? I am sitting here secure in the fact now you have no idea what you're talking about.

  25. "...Washington failed to resolve the dispute over frozen funds within 30 days as it had promised..." Time, and time again... Indeed, but imagine the political capital it could have been worth if DPRK met its deadline and showed the world of a western nation's failure to meet its end of the bargain. Political capital maybe, but thats not the way NK work. The U.S show hostility... NK show hostility, its a repeating cycle. Me neither, I doubt most people believe NK want to hit the off button, its even a meaningless gesture when you can just press on again anyway. Ultimately the discussion is really about denuclearization, a hypocritical issue that is not likely to come to fruition any time soon.
