That's how it is in Europe as well. You can refuse the Breathalyzer test, but have to (by force if necessary) agree to a blood test. I'm not 1 to drive drunk......however, I'm sitting here thinking of all the stupid stuff I got away with over the years..and it suddenly hit me... - there were countless tines I drove hungover the following morning. Question is , just how legal is that?... 1 time that sticks out in my head more than any other was Easter back in 2007. I only drank for a few hours, and got 9 hours of sleep, but regardless - my head was spinning when I woke up & I couldn't walk straight (at 1st.) I had to get home though; it was Easter Sunday that morning, & I had to meet the family for breakfast. I drove the 60 miles without a hitch, but it was no fun. Again - I'm interested in the legality of such a situation, based on the above description. Discuss.

Yeah. We made it back. Although, my mother now has no room to talk about my driving. Not only did she get that ticket on the way there, but almost side-swiped a car while switching lanes on the way back... Needless to say, I was wide awake the remainder of the drive. . We argue entirely too much......but she has learned to just let things go - knowing that I wont...as for me - I'm used to our way of life. I don't know that this will ever change, but I don't really think about it much. On average, it's about 1-3 times a week (that's an improvement) and mostly not over serious things. Anybody that knew my dad says I'm an identical twin; I've spent my life denying that, but unfortunately have to admit it's true. Oh well... Edited to add....Funny, she just came home & had a big hoop-lah about something as small as having a laptop on the table - Jesus Christ, I love this women, .... Made it here without a hitch - well, moms got a speeding ticket. Got here in 8 hours though Looks like they're really strict in Canada. Have great weather; having a blast - got great pictures I'll post when I'm back in Chicago. Hopefully, I won't get any tickets on my turn to drive back home.
