Every morning when I wake up, my nose is congested - not much, actually it's very little, but just enough to notice & have to clear it out. Does anyone else struggle with this or something similar? I would just like to hear about possible causes & solutions. It goes away about 10-20 minutes after waking up, but still... I was never 1 to have sinus issues; beginning this passed November though I began to get a cold, as most people do in the start of winter - thing is, it stayed with me for 3-4 months. At 1st it was impossible to clear; nothing would come out (sorry for the graphic description) - it was just a little fluid & I would remain congested. Then, I couldn't have enough tissue if I tried! - & unlike before, now it was the thickest & highest in volume I've ever had (yuck!) And now it's the morning thing... I wonder also if it's just an allergy, & has nothing to do with my long cold though; I sneeze for a few minutes, & my nose itches - again, just in the morning. Something tells me walking in light cloths for all those Chicago winters throughout the years wasn't such a macho idea after all... I used to never, EVER get sick at all - & now I just might be paying the price for it... None of us are perfect & I don't feel it's my place to judge anyone. I'm totally with you on the trainer thing - I love workin out with him, just can't afford it. I think I pretty much know what I should be doing by now. I work my upper body 1 day, & my lower body/legs the next - that's my entire week. Although the exercises & machines I use vary, for the most part. At home I stretch & simulate an arch for 5 minutes a day, twice a day (most times.) I'm also thinking it would be a good idea to sleep with the full-leg braces I use to stretch with the entire night.
