I'm doing very well.....going to the gym more & more often on a consistent basis, and the results are starting to show - while at the DZ this passed weekend people were even commenting on how good I look. I haven't changed my routine; still doing upper & lower body, every other day. I'd like to start swimming again though - but, it's very difficult to go swim in the morning, go to work (granted I have a non-physical sales job) & go back to the gym in the evening to do the strength training. On a side note...my friend (an older gentleman) was just measuring his blood pressure - so - for curiosities sake I also measured mine. It was 118/68, with a heart rate 0f 54. My friend told that it's very evident that I work out because those #'s reflect someone who is athletic. So, I guess that's good... But - the-not-so-good thing is that I've been very low on energy the last few days & thus very tired. It's not uncommon for me to sleep 7-8 hours a night, wake up, and go right back to sleep within an hour for a good part of the day... Also, for whatever reason I don't have much of an appetite the last 2 days. This may or may not help you - I'm very simplistic when it comes to human interaction...to be blunt - I don't care what happens; I just approach random people and start a conversation. This can be done very easily in and of itself - either ask a question or give them a compliment (however, if it's the latter just make sure it's genuine ) Whatever your intensions are in a given situation, just don't look for any particular result and you wont be disappointed. Look at it this way....most people will like you, some wont...so what?!... Just go out and be "you." Oh, and the reason it's easier after drinking is because alcohol is a anti-inhibitor; everyone has inhibitors and they stop you from doing things you're naturally not comfortable with, for whatever reason. And I'm not talking about the actual edumication... APPLYING is not cheap! @ $50 bucks an app, it can cost $250-$500 just to apply to 5-10 schools. The other thing is this - after spending that much $$$ I don't know that I would get accepted anywhere. I ended high school with a 2.0 G.P.A. & my sophmore year of college with a 2.1-2.2. I really wish I could go back & do it again; I wasn't & am not stupid; unfortunately, I was lazy & did not have my priorities straight. That's helped me a bunch personally. Truck has been in the shop multiple times (and is again right now ) and if a fat chick like me can walk 2 1/2 miles into town and 2 1/2 out and feel good doing it, anyone can. -and people that can ride a bike can do even better on time and carrying groceries! I have lost that ability. I beg to differ... Jaye, why would you say that about yourself? Cause I did! I totally forgot how to ride a bike!
