I have made many friends on this site, most of which I've already met. No reason that shouldn't continue; I have no problem meeting people from here.

Do you any of you this is fishy? This is a question I just received from a potential eBay buyer. Is there a difference between a regular payment via Paypal, and 1 involving a credit card? Can he pull some scam that I'm not thinking of this way? Like stop the money, or get it back once I have it by filing a complaint with Paypal, knowing I have no proof of shipment because it was a local pickup. I mean he could just say he never got the item. Call me paranoid, but... The other thing is - I'm not sure how I feel about a complete stranger coming to my house. For all I know, he's coming to scope out my house so he can burglarize it later. I hate it when people are dishonest (who doesn't really?...) When I ship things, because I send the receipt its always known what everything costs. On occasion, when I spend less than what was anticipated for shipping I just refund the extra money right away. That's good advice. I go a step further... As soon as I receive payment and start shipment, I send the buyer a message letting the buyer know that the goods are on its way, feedback for the buyer has been posted and that I would appreciate feedback on the transaction. A couple of days after the items are supposed to arrive, I check with the buyer again to make sure everything arrived as promised and again let them know that feedback is greatly appreciated. I did leave the person feedback, and I also asked him in politely in a quick message to do the same for me. Yoder, you're right, I should get used to this. It's just that when i don't get feedback I sometimes take it personally and feel that I did something wrong - when really I tried to do my best to satisfy the person. This is not really a vent - all I wanted to say is that I wish people would give me the courtesy I give them and leave feedback in a timely manner. In my mind a transaction isn't complete until both parties have left feedback. I really do my best to provide anyone I sell to great service; I scan receipts from the post office and e-mail it to the person, I return communication almost always immediately, etc, etc... I recently had a situation where FedEx had misplaced a package and as a result it took an additional week to deliver; luckly the matter was resolved without further incident. In the meantime, not only did I do all the above, as always with this buyer, but I made sure to be the 1 keeping them up to sipped on what's going on; I even made sure my contact person at FedEx called the buyer personally to reassure them that the problem would be resolved - and it was. It has been 3 days since the package has been delivered and still no feedback has been left for me. I'm not really upset, but the feedback is important because it reflects your reputation on the site as everyone knows , and thus it either helps or hinders your continued success. Although I have a score of 30 and have 100% positive, that's still not much - and so every little bit helps. The storyline was not like your typical Hollywood movie; it was refreshing in a way. I for 1 was laughing nearly the whole move, the whole theater was.
