Exactly the same way I feel. This started when we realized we may have some money left over from some after hours activities and started trying to figure out what to do with it. A Jumper at our DZ got Hurt many months ago and has not been able to work and will not be able to work for sometime. They have asked for Nothing. Mark suggested we send it his way as he has NO MONEY at all. No one said anything about paying medical bills, But there may be enough money left over so that the guy can go buy groceries until he can walk again. It is not our Responsibility to do this, but it is something that I would like to do as I have Fucked up in the past and know what it means to have a Friend offer a Hand up. As for JFTC, I raised $450 at the Dublin Boogie and then kicked in an extra $100 out of my pocket for them and I will be doing more for them in the future. This is not about who deserves it more.. It is a About a Friend who could use a Sammich or two until they get back on their feet.

The biggest problem is that 182 sized Shower. That 4 way last week was defiantely pushing the max load for that Shower (And your lard ass in there didnt help!! How come everytime I end up in the Shower with Two women at a Dropzone there is always some Very Large , Very Round guy also in there??). I say that Sandor needs to trade his existing Showers to the Farm for their Porter and then build us Much Bigger Showers so that we fly 8 and 10 ways.

In this case, you will have a choice. Neither of these guys have ever asked for anything. I have never asked for anything for Jello shots in the past (Other than the occasional Boobie Flash!!) but I see a Friend (Kev) who Fucked up, Did something Stupid, Learned from it and now need a little help until they can start working again. so Everyone will have a Choice when they donate money as to where it will go. (JFTC or the Busted Jumpers Fund) In return they get the Best Damn Jello Shots on the planet!! My personal decision will be based on who NEEDS it the most, not who Deserves it the most.

Are you saying that you would not buy a few jello shots for $1 a piece if the money was going to help out Jumper who got hurt? Noone is asking anyone to "GIVE" anything. We were just saying that any money made off jello shots or Games would go to help out someone who Fucked up and needs a little help getting back on their feet. I agree it was Stupid of them to jump without insurance, It will not happen again. Now is it wrong for us to try to help them out a little?

Definately "Donations". Selling Jello shots could cause legal problems and we both know that are people across the street that would do ANYTHING to cause problems for us. I will probably put up 2 hats, One for JFTC and one for Jerry and Kev. People can drop money in which ever one they want and help themselves to a few jello shots. I personally hate dealing with money for anything but I would like to help out friends if they need it. Neither of these guys have asked for anything, Nobody is asking anyone to GIVE anything. If you want a few jello shots, Drop some money in a hat and help yourself.

I agree with you. But if some one is Busted up badly doing something stupid, Does that mean we should completely turn our backs on them? The old Tough Love, Gotta teach them a Lesson mentality just doesn’t work for me when I see that know they made a mistake and in the mean time are unable to support themselves. I have no problem helping them get back on their Feet. I guess I am just a Sucker who is willing to help out a friend when they are down. Now if they do it again… Fuck em.

How do you feel about helping out or raising money for a Broken Jumper who is unable to work? See this thread I can definitely see both sides of the argument but when it comes down to it, I have no problem helping out a friend who made a mistake (even if they had been warned first). I see no need to make sure they suffer even more for their stupidity. Especially if it was the first time. This isnt about being Noble, It is about helping out a friend who needs help.
