Are we there yet?? I REALLY could use a Good Properly Administered Shooter now. I have had Several People ask about getting together for dinner before the Grand Adventure. There is a Mexican Restaurant (I forget the name, Someone else hopefully will) right across from the pony that we have met at in the past. It is on the corner of Buford Highway and Corporate. (You have to turn on Corporate to get to the Pony Parking lot). I dont know If I will be able to be there or not for dinner yet, But I bet if show up around 8:00pm or 8:30pm and look around.. You might find several other Jumpers there. Everyone should plan on being at the Pony around 9:00 or so if they want a Table. After that, The place is usually packed on Friday Nights. Transportation to the Farm... Make sure you have a Plan that does NOT involve "I will just drive straight from the Pony to the Farm" unless you have a DD already lined up. I am not helping bail out anyone that goes that route and gets a DUI. There is a Hotel right next door that is very reasonable (And NO you cant just crash in my room, it is already full!! (Unless of course you happen to be a very cute, cuddly Single Female.. IN that case, I might can find room for you) Otherwise Get your own room you cheap bastards!! Or ride back on the Short Bus. Honestly we are expecting at least 30 Skydivers to show up at the Pony. This is going to be a Blast. Dont miss it if at all possible. I heard that Hans is buying the first round. Also there is an Age old tradition for those of you joining us for the first time that involves you buying the organizer a Drink or 10.

Hey lets air the 4th episode first and then just do the other out of order too. 2: Scheduling. What Idiot decided that Friday Night at 9:00pm would be a GREAT time to air a show aimed at the 20 something crowd?? That is when the 20 something crowd is getting reday to go out. No TV show is going to keep them home on Friday night at 9:00pm. My 2nd favorite TV show of all times also never made it all the way through its first season either. This topic seems to be one where Jumpers and DZO`s have quite a bit of disagreement based on comments in another thread. I am just curious to hear from others what how their DZ would handle the following scenarios: A) Tandem has a reservation, Travels a significant distance, Show up ready to jump. Plane Breaks, Winds Kick up or Bad weather rolls in and they are unable to jump. Refund or Not?? B) AFF Student prepays for the entire course. Gets seriously hurt Half way through the course and will be physically unable to complete the course. Partial Refund or Not? C) Upjumper comes from out of town and puts $200 on account soon as he shows up. After a couple Jumps, He is unable make more jumps (Injury, Weather, Plane issues.. Does it make a difference??). Balance on account, Refund or Not?? D) Upjumper has money left on account and decides he doesn’t want to jump at that DZ any more. Refund or Not?? E) Upjumper Travels from many states away for a Boogie. Buys many lift tickets. Event gets canceled by the city/state after an incident. Refund or Not?? I have seen everyone of these scenarios (Some many times) and seen them handled differently. How would your DZ handle them?
