Brain function of liberals & Conservatives differs
Thanatos340 replied to goofyjumper's topic in Speakers Corner
No clear lines there. Especially when Liberals and Conservatives are categorized as Democrats and Republicans. I am very much a Conservative (Just slightly to the right of Genghis Khan on the political Spectrum) however I would consider being a Called a republican a great insult. The religious right has waaaaay too much control of that party. I also live in the south where "Southern Democrats" are far more conservative than many Northern Republicans. The libertarian has too many radicals as well. I believe strongly in the core principals of the party but the party is in chaos and always will be as there are too many “legalize drugs” and “abolish the IRS” nutjobs controlling the party. In my mind, a Conservative is someone that believes in personal responsibility. Someone that believes that actions have consequences and that we are responsible for our own actions. Liberals come across as people that believe Someone else is usually responsible for actions and that those actions should be overlooked and or forgotten. -

I will be leaving my Office in Roswell around 3:00pm to head down. Should put me in Dublin around 6 or 6:30 if I do not hit too much traffic. I will call you tommorow on my way down to see what is up. -

I will be in Dublin on Tuesday evening (Have a presentation scheduled for Wednesday morning at a Local Manufacturing Plant there). Not sure I will be there in time to make a Jump but if you guys are going out to dinner somewhere, let me know when and where. -
I think this one here May be my personal best. ASC/Skyride Builds Shimell Robot to destroy other DZ`s This one here is a follow up to that one.

If it really is XL.. Yes.

-
She was OK. After a few beer.. I would probably Hit it.
-
You think that is bad.. Look how I have started dressing.. That game is evil I tell you!!
-
Attached is a picture of the Skirt.. Ladies.. Is this where a skirt like this is usually worn or is it pulled down much lower on the waist that normal in this picture??
-
Sounds reasonable to me. Imagine how bad that poor girl would feel if she wore that outfit and No one looked? Might hurt her self esteem. If she asks why you are staring, just say you are doing her a favor.
-
Why Sneak?? If she is dressed like that.. It is OK to look. If she is going to show it to me, the least I can do is look at it. be rude not to, right?
-
Cause they let YOU choose your seat?
-
I LOVE short skirts.. But if you look at the pics of that girl.. She has the skirt pulled waaaaay down and is using her sweater to make it look like it is not riding about half way down her ass. That skirt is pretty short and not usually worn like she has it in the picture. I am NOT complaining and highly encourage such attire.. But I can see where some frumpy old ladies would get their panties in a wad over this.

No Kidding. He didnt even hold out for a Boob Pic or anything. Just gave it up right off the bat. Doesn’t he know he devalues all of our services when he does that. What is this world coming to. Edit - What ever hap[pened to Ass, Gas or Grass... But no one edits for free?

You have to be really confident to wear that outfit. You almost pull it off.

No Spence, You live on the North side of South Georgia.

While you and I have a similar position of this issue, I complete disagree with the above statement. People CAN represent themselves. I have done this on several occasions and have never attended a day of Law School. I also have never lost. I have done this in Federal Court, State Court, Family Court and Criminal Court. I will bet anything that I have written and filed more motions in federal court than many of the "Licensed" Attorneys fresh out of law school here. People can read and study the FRCP and successfully represent themselves. Judges do tend to give Pro-se`s a little more leeway in some cases. I know it has always worked for me. My point is that you do NOT have to be a lawyer to understand the law. It has always been my experience that the Lawyer is just there to see what else they can bill you for and rarely take the time to understand the cases they are representing. You do NOT have to be a lawyer to understand the Law and/or the court system. You do not have to a Lawyer to “Practice Law”. In fact anyone that just “Lets their Lawyer Handle it” without taking the time learn as much about their case and the laws involved is an Idiot in my opinion.

Cause it was only a Blow up Kiddie Pool (Perfect size for andy though). Ruined now that Andy`s nasty nuts were dipped in it. Somethings Clorine just wont fix.
-
Are still here?? You owe me a new Pool after tainting mine with your nasty pikey undersized Nuts.

One little slip there and silicone will be all over the place.

You clearly haven’t played with RFID much. Lol!! I have been trying to get a reliable RFID interface to my Inventory Control component of my software package for the last couple years. Still only about 80 to 90% accurate with more than a couple items passing through the portal and the implementation costs are still out of sight for most of my customers. The day of grab a bunch of items and walk out the portal are still a long way off. As for hackers… Well with a $20 pack of Avery labels and any printer out there, I can produce bar-codes for just about anything. Want a 52” TV to ring up as a bag of oranges?? No Problem at all. Give me the SKU for the oranges and I will print a Bar-code sticker in less than 60 seconds. As many as you want. RFID tags are not much harder just have to have a more expensive printer. If anyone is getting it up the ass here, it is the Stores and the Honest Customers. If showing my receipt on exit save me money every trip, More power to them. Honest people have nothing to fear here.

I have another scenario that may be come very much a reality in the near future as RFID tag and technology becomes more useful (It SUCKS right now in a real world environment). What if they eliminated the receipt checker completely but still did the exact same comparison while you were leaving the store? The way it would work would be you put your receipt into a reader and it compares the items on the receipt to the items in your cart. All good, The door opens. Not good an alarm goes off. You can bet that as RFID technology is accepted, there will be atleast two check points to look for errors. I personally like the human there better as it would less embarrassing if there was a mistake.
