I am sad to say that I no longer have the largest Deck on the DZ. I now have to learn to deal with Deck envy.

I actually got off my lazy ass and made a couple hunderd Jello-shots last night. Going to make a few more tonight. So we may have the "Shot-off" this weekend if we can agree on terms. Shouldnt be too hard to find some judges.. (Unbiased Judges.. though may prove to be difficult.)

And it would most likely be The Parents/Grandparents Home Owners Insurance that is the one actually being sued. So it really could just be one insurance company sueing another insurance company. In the end, (Just like almost all Law suits) the only winners are the Liars Opps I mean Lawyers and everyones insurance rates go up.

Dont set your expectations too high. Satellite Internet service still kinda sucks (better than Dial up.. But not much.). We have it at the DZ and it is usually slower than dialup would have been. I spent about 10 minutes trying to log-on to DZ,com at the DZ this past weekend and finally gave up because it was taking atleast a full minute for each page to load.

I have no idea where how they came up with this.

Budget depends on alot of variables. 1) Travel Costs. How much will cost you to get to the Boogie. Sometimes this is an expensive plane ticket others it is just a tank or two of petrol and some drive time. 2)Where will you stay? Tent on the DZ doesn’t usually cost much. Hotel?? Can run the budget up but your own shower and a real bed is nice. 3) Registration Fees? How much is registration for the Boogie. 4) How many Jumps you plan on making? 5) Beer. Is this your FIRST Boogie? First time at that DZ? Plan on any other Firsts while you are there?? Beer fines must be paid. Add all that up and then add about 25% more for incidentals and you should have your Budget. Of course you will blow way past that number but atleast you know HOW much you went over budget for the Boogie.

Can I get an AMEN from the Glory Hallelujah Choir?? Women that have long gorgeous hair and chop it off generally make me very sad (there are a few.... VERY Few that do look good with shorter hair.. Wow. You do sound like you have found the right place to work. Now to explain to you what happened. After Chris Martin died, Beazy Shaw was helping his widow sell the Dropzone and its assets. Those assets consisted of at least one Plane, Gear, Website and the established phone number and name. I am sure there was more as well. At some point after Chris died, Someone called the phone company claiming to be Chris Martin and had the calls to that DZ redirected to Skyride. They also put password protection on the account to make it hard to get changed back. This was discovered when after several months when there was a memorial Boogie and Fundraiser held at the Tullahoma DZ for Chris and his family. When several of the Jumpers that would be attending that Boogie called the Tullahoma 800 number that belonged to the DZ, they were connected to Skyride. It took quit a while to get this fixed because of the passwords and locks that skyride had added to the account once they hijacked it. Clearly it seems any reasonably intelligent person could look at all the websites for Dropzones that don’t really exist that were designed with the specific intent to make the customer believe that there really is a dropzone by whatever name that particular website is and realize that you are NOT dealing with honest people.
