do you call your aunt and uncle "mom" and "dad" when you speak to them? the reason i ask is because when i was 12 (this by far was not the start of my journey) i came to live with my aunt and uncle but i call them by their first names when i speak to them.... not "mom" or "dad"... even though i appreciate their attempt at raising a good-hearted decent young man... even when i lived with my grandmother (who is evil) i lived with her from three to eleven and she wanted me to call her mom.... never did... i knew who my real parents were and it wasn't her.

... i do not believe that an increase in gun control would decrease our nation's crime rate nor would a decrease in gun control increase our nation's crime rate... i do however believe that gun control regulates the intensity of crimes committed.

wow... well i disagree.... first off.. i never graduated high school... i left my senior year when i was old enough to join the military and sought to defend my brothers at war. but throughout my years in the Marine Corps, i have been to many nations and have seen the products of poor decisions of the leaders of nations and of the civilian populous. I also take great pride in knowing more than most of my government and the Constitution, the ideas they were founded and the contrasts with the constitutions of of other governments and nations. although it is a major achievement and a benchmark in most everybody's life, a high school diploma is not a gauge to determine intelligence or eligibility for voting status.

well... you argue a good point... and everybody's situation here is different... so everyone will have a different perspective. you don't sound like you have a vendetta against your birth parents as much as you have great appreciation and admiration for the ones who have brought you up... which is awesome... and i respect that, and apologize for offending you

dude... i loved hanging out in my garage (when i had one) it was just... i don't know... chillaxed in there.... i especially liked it in the rain and during t-storms... something therapuetic about it..... and it is not just an american thing.... here in iraq.... they sit in their driveways in lawn chairs and drink water...

dude... for a while i was the youngest jumper at my dz (i was nineteen) and i drank at my dz and gave money for beer whenever i owed... my dzo had pulled the plug on my drinking for getting a little too outta hand a couple of times but because i would stay there at night and not drive anywhere... noone really minded...

umm... yeah i don't that this is possible.... maybe like all of the icecaps melting and all of a sudden the ocean temperature drops and kills almost all of the fish and then the great lakes flood and michigan goes under... wow... that doesn't sound too bad actually.... who needs michigan anyway.... we'd all just have to drive foreign cars......

ok.... sorry... i lost patience reading all of the replies in this forum.... but i would like to put my two cents in on the war.... first of all... many of you know where i am right now... and i can tell you from the ground that 2005 and 2006's most dangerous city in the world is now the model for reconstruction in iraq.... and there is a tactical withdrawal of u.s. forces from iraq that is hush hush and slow and deliberate beginning with the steady withdrawal of surge forces.... but it is oblivious to most...
