    keep going! we were two students that began training. i did really shit on the ground, the instructors had a bet who could choose. my instructors lost initially, but i made up for it in the air, and now i'm far ways better than the guy that had started with me.. i'm still having landing issues, but they're getting better! and i do outstanding in the air. i even outtrack the videoguy.. and that wasnt even my best track yet! “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S.     i never did a tandem.. i went straight for aff. on first jump, i froze so much, i couldnt think about backing out. on jump nr. two, i thought, oh shit, is that really for me, do I REALLY WANT TO DO THIS!? well, i'm on jump nr. 28 now, and i love it!!! “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S.     i did tell about the guy that told me he did BASEjumps from a helicopter? he was actually a kitesurfer too! probably we're talking about the same guy here.. or, maybe they both had their kiteboars hit their head once to often, and thats the reason why they seem to be a little "distracted"..

    also i like to do stuff with the people i know and with which i'm familiar.. BUT, as far as it concerns me, if i go somewhere alone, usually i end up having the bigger blast than when i'm with someone known.. you know, you hang out together, dont really bother with the other people.. instead, if you're alone you're kinda forced to be more outgoing, meet and talk to new people.. and i love meeting new fellas! altough i have the biggest of mouthes, i'm actually a rather shy guy, deep down at least.. but i do everything to hide that fact! so yea, doing something "on your own" for me, only had benefits.. always! sometimes its not easy to jump over your shadows, but mostly it will pay out in your favor.. “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S.     its kinda funny, in switzerland skydiving gets pretty much good press, recently "baschi", a swiss musician and ms. zurich came to our dropzone to make a jump. and yea, simon ammann, the winter olympics gold medal winner in ski jumping, AKA harry potter (he's been to lettermann, you guys might remember) was on tv about a week ago, him and another skijumper went on a tandem too.. “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S.
