    1 : 5 : 0 did three jumps on a rig i might buy, with a 150 sabre one.. two went really good, but the first no-wind landing was very painful.. lesson learned, dont flare too high just because the ground comes fast.. got up, packed, went on next load after talk to some instructors.. nice landing after that.. “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S.     i was shown to roll not only the stabilizers, but also nose and tail very well.. the rigger said that for its age it was an ok rig. still freeflyable for at least another 100 jumps. and if treated carefully, for another 500.. price wasnt a real deal, but was fair. i think i'll just get it, put another 200 or so jumps on it, then take the cypress out and use it in a new rig. still plenty of time to hone my skills, plus the money been saved would better be invested in jump tickets.. “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S.     tested the jav this weekend, yesterday it was quite windy, so no problem there, but today.. well, no wind at all, and on the second jump of the day i had the jav again. ground came much faster than expected, flared way to high, lifted parachute even higher.. i must been about 15ft off the ground or more, so l let the flare go.. you know what comes next.. i feel a bit sore on my upper back, my chin and my chest.. well, long story short, i got up, packed again and did another jump.. nice and very soft opening on that good old sabre.. cool. in 3 out of 3. the harness fits like a glove. what should i do!? “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S.
