well, since a jump is probably around 35+$, yea, thats a hell of a deal.. for americans to be cool, i guess it would have to be around 3500$.. guess would be difficult to get 1000 in, they're only opened on weekends except for like 3 months during the summer.. but its a cool thing to do anyway i think!

there isnt really a response team at my dropzone, but we do have a couple of nurses and doctors, which is really good! last year when someone hooked himself in, two docs and a nurse came running. guy broke his neck, if someone untrained would of gotten there, i doubt the guy would still be walking (and skydiving) again. he might even be dead! i think its best to leave that to the people that know their shit. of course, if no-one is around.. if you want to get a drivers license here, you have to have medical training. but you only do it once, most around 18. i dont really know how much stays with the people, i'm not sure if i'd remember everything. sure how to stop bleeding, and from CPR, i heard its better you do something, than do nothing in the case someone has a heart-attack or the like.. “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. so, after cuddling extensively with my baby-doggy (there's no-one else there),i get up on my b-day, freshly fallen snow pleases my eye, i walk the dog, get ready, make it a bus earlier to work as i also want to get cakes n'stuff for work.. well, i've been waiting in the bus for about an hour (the ride usually takes less than 30 minutes) to be then told that the roads to town have been closed down, so i sit and ride until the last stop, decided to take the walk down to town, about 5 miles over snowcovered roads, i fucking fall on my ass 2 times, and a dozen or so more almost.. totally stressed out i think, ok, its my birthday, i'm already late, i go to the coffee-shop and have breakfast there. i was hoping for a white christmas. i dont think i ever will again.. “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. So, does that mean you can name a good reason to go below 6500'? i also usually throw around 4000, just gives you more time to deal with shit. and if you do have a mal, you can get rid of your main, get back to a stable fall and pull silver and rest assured you'll have a clean reserve. but i've been called a dirty high-puller before. i think its a safety-concious decision. if i do have a snivel and are open at 2500, i already feel uncomfortable.. to each their own!

gotta check those out too then.. what i like is a folder with a reasonably sized blade of good steel that can take abuse, a handle that is flat and has a solid clip, manually operated, single-handed and should have a strong lock. a workhorse i dare to say.. “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. i was actually laughing when i saw on their site what they call it. it basically snaps open just by looking at it! its not a really small knife for what i'm used to. the spyderco police is a darn killer compared to it, sure, but its nothing you'd want to carry in your pocket really, too bulky i thought.. thats the other thing i didnt really like about it, the clip seems to be quite flimsy, and i like to carry them knives on the inside of the waistband. doesnt stick out to everyone but is still in reach. i almost think i have to go for another SS spyderco.. “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. mine has about 900 jumps on it and is from '93. i think it flies like a charm! and still looks good, except some seams on the slider that are about to go off. oh, and you will become a pretty concious packer. as someone pointed out, it does not like a sloppy packing. it will bite you if you dont treat it careful.. “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. sounds pretty good! just looked up their website, cant seem to find the model, and also nothing that comes close to "X15-something" for the steel.. might be an older model. it has that speedsafe opening mechanism and the bolsters were made of grey-greenish synthetics. blade had a nicely rounded spine and looked a bit like one of the bigger veggie-knives you might use in the kitchen. about 1 inch wide and somewhere between 3-4 inches long. pretty mean machine, opens quick and smooth. oh, and for the bowie-knives, anyone know the mercworx-knives!? they cost a junk of money but look pretty solid.. “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S.
