the amityville house is still there, but its been remodeled. doesnt look much like the house you would see in any of the movies. my ex drove me to it once, and just the general build of the house is a bit creepy. his best friends grew up there, and he used to stay over all the time. swore he never saw or heard anything but that the clock on the mantle in the old movies is actually painted onto the floor in front of the fireplace. seemed odd. anyways, you didnt miss much, promise. -

not to hijack ... but ACME i love it when you post stories/pics of your kiddos!! They are absolutely gorgeous!!! many times, after reading one of your posts i wonder how in the world you have the patience and motivation and strength to do it every day. i guess its something ill never know until i have kids of my own. but when i do, i hope i can talk about my kids with as much unconditional love/support as you do.

had to come back and post this. off work today and home alone. Russell had breakfast with me.

everytime i have a weekend off - where i actually have plans, my managers go in and change my schedule so that im suddenly working. NEVER fails. not to mention I just got my schedule for the rest of the year and im working EVERY SINGLE HOLIDAY. halloween, thanksgiving, christmas eve, christmas, and new years eve. AWESOME. wouldnt even have a problem with 4/5, but all freakin 5?!?! gimme a break!

a little while ago a friend bought me a hallmark fresh ink card that said "Laugh so hard that you go into silent laugh mode. and you come dangerously close to falling out of your chair. but you dont." and its true! definitely the most refreshing way to laugh.
