    honestly, the most memorable thing to me every single one of my birthdays is that my mom always made what I wanted for dinner and then we always had strawberry shortcake for dessert. ALWAYS. there is a picture of me on my 1st birthday with strawberry juice all over my face. there are also 5 children in my family, and birthdays werent made a huge deal. but my mom doing that one 'simple' thing always made me feel like i was her world.

    i actually just finished Dry the other day! i really liked it, but Magical Thinking was my favorite. hes very sarcastic. very open. i enjoy writers that i can relate to, and he is one that doesnt pretend like he is anything more than he is. also he has a pretty neat website www.augusten.com if you want to check out his "style" of writing before buying a book

    i have a love affair with mustard, and had never thought of putting it in the dressing. what a great idea! same with the dill and onions. thanks!!

    apparantly my mom is ON IT tonight! heres what she sent me 1/2 c. vinegar (I use either balsamic or wine) 1/2 c. olive oil 2 cloves garlic 1 T Italian seasoning 1 T. spike (a natural form of Mrs. Dash) 1/2 t. black pepper 2 T. sucanat (natural cane sugar, any sweetener will do) Parmasan cheese (opt) She keeps it in a special dressing thing she has so we can mix it up whenever we use it as it tends to settle. enjoy!!!

    I do. My boyfriend is extremely hairy, except for being bald. He even has a hairy back and a little paunch. Do I care? Not a jot. He's confident, good looking with a great sense of humour. What more do I need? And I bet I'm not the only one.

    we turned it on one night on accident and got sucked into 4 or 5 episodes back to back. kind of melo-dramatic at times, but the show does a great job of sucking the viewer in. never had a paranormal experience, but definitely believe!!!
