    Fixed it for you. Over here they recently upped it from eight to ten hours, by the way. It doesn't even matter what is in the actual aviation laws; the ten hour thing is in the Dutch Basic Safety Requirements. That said, I've seen the hungover thing (not half-drunk; HUNGOVER) at boogies once or twice.Even been guilty myself once, but I scared myself hard enough that it'll never happen again.     My GF and my mother made me something like that out of an old handbag and two mismatched carabiner-like hook thingies we found lying around the place. Just hook up the risers to the carabiners and bob's your uncle. Having written 'L' and 'R' on your toggles also helps a lot when reattaching risers to your rig. Plus of course, it's a great steering and navigation aid while under canopy..     Dunno about that. Actual temps below 0F (that's about -18C or so) and winds pushing 20 mph (about 32kph) mean frostbite on exposed skin in about 15 minutes. Repress that.     Jumping? What's that? My predicted total for this year is 58 jumps, 21 of which I made in a single week during a CReW camp. Then again, the bright side is that next year can't possibly be any worse jump-wise.     That's what I was thinking... a resort shuttle service could hire the local pilots to ferry customers to the local airport, thereby keeping the money in circulation and everybody wins. Even skydiving could have a place there, with the resort offering an adventure package (tandem and/or AFF) and the skydivers doing demos on resort events. But haters will be haters...

I want a mentally overloaded (not sure if that's the correct term) going to their reserve when in doubt - not chopping, hacking and sawing ineffectually away at either canopy and probebly making things much, much worse. I am afraid such a scenario would be much more likely than a student actually needing a hook knife..     No, I asked Baksteen a question regarding proper profiling. I thought since he lives in an occupied country he may have some useful information. For example, the Islamic terrorist that opened fire on the Chattanooga recruiting station was not identified until it was too late. Chattanooga TN is close to home. I missed that - this thread is moving rather fast. You asked You can't tell at a glance - that's my point. But that (obviously) doesn't mean you can take it out on the good guys along with the bad guys. BTW - I don't live in occupied country.. we were liberated in 1945.     Well, there's those, but also the Tamil Tigers, Andreas Breivik, The Lord's Resistance Army, Volkert van der Graaff, the ETA and the KKK - and that's only off the top of my head. Google will indubitably reveal many more christian, hindu, buddhist, sikh, jewish (etc.) terrorists/terror groups/freedom fighters. Especially if you look past the recent history, all the way back to the early twentieth century.
