It's difficult to argue with such an articulate statement, but just for the sake of clarity, are you suggesting that most women look at a man and immediately ask themselves, "Could this guy help my career, boost my social status, buy me some nice jewelry, or pay off my student loans?" or are you suggesting that most women look at a man and immediately ask themselves, "Could I have a future with him?" There's a big difference, and from your post, as elegantly written as it is, it's not entirely clear what you mean; though, it appears you're leaning toward the former. Yes, you are correct in your assumption.. I will put out an example, and since this was a high profile recent event that the world knows, i will point out highlights of what i refer too in my previous post,, Anne Nicole Smith, She was approched by some very well known people that we all have come to know, for whatever reasons, one, her husband who was old and had a fortune=money,,,, he was well known oil tycoon=social status quo, popularity, she was looking for the needed attention that she desired, nothing wrong with that, but the fact remains that she looked for what she was requiring to meet her needs, he fit the requiremet that she wanted to fullfil her lifes expectations. and any other guy that didn't have what he could give her had no chance.. as i said before, i still feel women look at what is the guy going to do for me as a point of conversation.

most women size a guy up and they look at " whats he worth"? is he compatible?? most women i believe look at a guy the first time, like shes looking into the future, what are you going to do for her.? if you don't fit the description of that paticular girl, she wont have nothing to do with you. you are nothing in her eyes, thats why they are soo unapproachable to a little small talk..unless shes just after sex, which then who cares about anything above

alot of good advice from ppl here,, i think the most important is to sit down and discuss the hobby with her, and see where the discussion go's... but you have only been with her 5 months,, so i think a big thing is what one poster wrote which i quoted at the top,, this is deciding where your prioritys are before you get too far along in the hobby/GF...good luck on the outcome whichever you choose..

Jezzz, when i use to truck into NYC going across the BQE, that was back in the late 80's and early 90's they had those those 12'6 signs on the bridges,, you gotta be kidding me??? they still have those signs there....LOL.. i bet with all the new drivers the companys have nowadays, i bet they just freak out and stop,,, LOL,, or hit the off ramps,, oh,, even more joy,,,LOL.. on a serious note,, driving into and outta NYC is tough enough,, do it in a big truck and its a different story... btw,, to the OP.,,. where is that at?? i live in Illinois,, that up there in Chicago somewhere?

Nice helmet, has a very nice fit, love the liner as it is soft and fits snugly, I like the pocket for the audible's, they fit well and i can hear it fine on loud setting thru the padding. I like the fact the helmet is light. The helmet has a great profile and really is low profile. you can't go wrong with it. I love the look of my cookie!!!

those ppl in that part of the world will never,, NEVER , get up to speed on anything,, the biggest problem of why that area of the world is soo fucked up, is the uneducation, call em whatever, clerics, sheiks, religious leaders,,, dumbfucks i prefer to call them, will always have power over the ppl cause they know blind sheep who dont understand, or read/write, uneducated, will listen to them, they can tell them what they think they are suspose to know, and when ppl can't read or write or understand a simple thing, they let other ppl tell them how or why and when to sleep,eat, shit, or kill.. i have no more sympathy for any of them NO more, they have had 5000+ fucking years to figure it out,, simple, they are dumb, dumb dumb,,, sorry, but everyone has a opinion and i am just so fed up with that part of the world, i just wish it just didn't exist anymore.,. i have always hoped something will or would work and it never gets any better, after awhile, you just say, screw em..

I just recently bought a cookie helmet,, i love it,, i used a Protec for 2 years, I like my cookie helmet cause its nice and quiet and of course it fits well.. alot of ppl have bonehead helmets, i hear those are good too. you might want to check out skydanceheadgear, they got some good helmets i hear also,, ask some of your fellow jumpers at the DZ what they like and why,, the pros' and cons of their helmets. helmets come in diff flavors, if you love/like RW, fullface is nice to have, ,, freefly, open face, not saying thats what you have to have for that peticular discipline, just look at what other jumpers are wearing and for what reasons.. good luck!!

best answer to that is,, that you end up keep going back to the DZ,, thats a pretty good indication.. dude, you will know after the first jump if its something you want to do, and if it is,, its the desire and will of ppl that makes them go back for whatever reasons and plus.. its a lotta fun!!!!! good luck.. Oh and btw, if your like most of us, you will hear "relax" from your instructor, oh maybe a couple million times over the AFF course,, me i think i heard it 3 million times,, GOD, glad those days are over,,LOL, i was a terrible student,,, so don't worry so much,, we all been there,,

and they have every right to do what they did, the U.S should stay out of their business, they are protected under their own consitution and the majority of their ppl voted and under thier laws they preveiled with a majority for the amendment to their law.. nuff said.

yeah, I'd try again Ross, i had a few questions to ask them before i bought and I just emailed them from their website and Jeremy Hunt with cookie replyed back to me, they replied each and every time i emailed them,, i received my helmet in 7 days, bottom line here is a happy customer.

I bought a cookie M1 helmet and it arrived the other day, and what a nice fit and its quiet, its so light and just a perfect fit, my audible fits nicely, im glad i purchased it.

man all this talk has got me fired up!! i'm taken my M1 Garand and my two .45's out and go target practicing,, nothing like a good accurency shoot with the M1, and i love my .45's need to get some freinds together for a PPC match.. as a reminder,,, without the second amendment, the other admendments are just a stroke of the pen away from existence.. those nutty ppl that want to ban regular ammo that we all use, are just plain nutzs. hell, if they had it their way, we'd have to use darts that have dull ends or rocks to throw,, wait a minute,, to think of that,,,,hmmm they'd just ban possesion of rocks,

I know im bumping this thread back up, but im curoius as to anyone that has bought from cookie composites. i was at their website and looking at buying a helmet, but i saw they say about customs fees and duty taxes and bla, bla bla,,, they say to check your local customs dept for rates and fees,, well after i have spent the last hour at the US dept of Treasury and every poss link i can find about customs fees and such, im more confused than when i started??? anyone from the USA that bought from them ever had to pay these taxes,fees to just get your stuff???? help...

Yeah... I'd pack myself! but it's a bad analogy to compare taxing such a service. Let's say that Fl placed a special $50 tax on a jump ticket... Then there'd be a lot less jumping done in Fl, with most folk saving up and going to Az twice a year for loads of jumps. But... For an occasional single jump, then it may be cheaper for Fl residents to go to a local Dz than it would be to travel out of state. The thing with taxes is that they might modify behaviour, but they certainly raise money. Some counties in the US DO outlaw alcohol - they're called "dry-counties". Many states outlaw gambling. Some states do legislate to outlaw the use of tobacco by banning smoking in public. Some other states or counties choose to allow such things and tax them. So... The question is whether Cook County is seeking to outlaw firearms or make extra money from their use. A 10cent bullet tax tends to suggest the latter. If Cook County really wanted to prohibit guns I'm sure that there's other ways to go about it that'd be far more effective than this tax, perhaps by some variation on business laws to make operating any business connected with firearms prohibitively expensive. Remember,, alcohol, tobacco, cars, gambling, are priviliges.. not rights.. they can be restricted as some states, have done,, second amendment Guarentees the right to have,, you may not be able to carry a gun in the state,, but you have the right to own one,,, big difference guys.,. plus when a state or county or whatever, trys to tax something to the outragous, only the very rich will be able to afford them,,, so then you will have created a class division ,, only the rich can protect themself's cause they have the money to pay such high taxes?? and then the poor having the same rights,, would be denied??? cause they can't afford it?? some ppl are poor, its a reality in this world,, but they should not be subjected to not being able to have the rights as we all do... just because its a money issue

i use Utorrent and a wireless router, just set a port opening for a desired IP, (thats if you have dedicated IP's for computors on your network) and like the one poster said, make double sure your firewall is not blocking the utorrent port... always recheck your firewall ports if you have problems, that seems to be very common good luck

As far as I know, they have no real (physical) proof against her. She only fits the profile of a possible suspect, and that is it they have. Thats what i've been thinking and saying too, is that we ALL have to wait till theres something more before ppl start making a judgement, just because she was invouvled in a love triangle does not make her a killer or murderer,. it makes her look bad, but wait till the verdict or evidence is in against her..
