Sounds like an average weekend at the DZ if you ask me. Seriously.. DUI.. .08 barely over the legal Limit. Not shit faced.. Not Stupid Drunk. Realistically at her weight.. No more then 2 to 3 drinks MAX. I Guarantee you that at least 80% or more of the posters in this thread have driven with higher BAC quite often. Used to be officers discression between .08 and .10. I have blown a .08 after leaving a bar where I had exactly 2 Beers. That was back when it was still OD and I just got a nice long talking to fro the cop. I’m not rich and I walked without even a Ticket. Then she Drives without a License.. OK, Now she screwed up. Broke probation (NOT Parole.. HUGE difference). OK.. Minor offence. Most of us would have paid a fine for this same thing and that would have been the end of it. Maybe got a couple days in jail. Dodging responsibility?? Its crazy. beg to differ with ya.. but here in Illinois, in the county of Effingham, if you break a probation, in this county a first time offense of breaking any of those will land your ass in county for 30 days, Ive seen them reduced to 15 days, but 30 is the norm and im talking first time offenses..they don't fuck around here. they will let you serve your time on weekends, you have to report friday night and are there till monday morning, but you still go to jail!! EDIT TO ADD: its really up to the sentencing judge if you can do weekends only, Sorry if i gave the impression you can set your own time to serve, which is really up to the judge, but they usally will allow it so you can continue to work during the week

I hope they get something better than what their trying to impose. I really like jumping, but I'm afraid by the time congress gets done, (of which i have very little faith in) $25 will be nothing,, cause they will add another 2 dollar here and 2 dollar there..etc.etc.etc.. I'm thinking of maybe if all gos to shit, i'll trade my rig for a skateboard... i think im still safe as i dont have to pay road taxes for that...yet! side note: yep, i'll be giving alittle extra on my USPA renewel for airport fund!!

belly flying boring? NAH!! its awesome pulling off 4-ways and 8-ways, and you name it ways!!! haha, im just starting to learn sit flying and while i think its a cool position to fly in, I really do like RW, it just seems more challenging to me, nothing like a big way with friends at sunset to finish off a good day of jumping,. whatever you choose, have fun at it!! EDIT TO ADD: get good on your belly first, be able to do all movements with ease, should be second nature, then go FF, someone else may say otherwise, but from what i've seen with most ppl at the DZ, it turns out better for most jumpers getting their belly flying down good then moving on to other body positions.

Yep, I agree with the other posters.. exercise.. by doing those jumps you have just found out,, just how bad your outta shape..not knocking you personally, but skydiving does take some strength, if you want to get into different areas of skydivng, like freeflying, you are going to need that strength. its not hard, but you need build yourself up abit.. I have no doubt you'll do fine,, after a few jumps and some soreness and lots of bath soaks
