  1. 9/11 was a very unlucky shot by some motherf#@ing camel loving animals. NO country deserves to have something like that happen to it civilians. An army at war is not the issue here. Fact is, that all terrorists are not located in Iraq nor is the money that pays for those bastards. The money can be in NY, of Fankfurt or anywhere else. The ones that are calling for attacks like that are located in their clubs, churches, schools all over the world. It's gonna be tough to go an explain why you had to take out a school somewhere in deep shit middle east, just because the 4grad teacher is calling for a jihad against whoever they feel like. It's like a cancer that has spread all over the world and you would be surprised to find out, that even in your own country you can find people, that will support it. There are to many countries out there, that support openly all kind of terrorist cells, just because it serves their cause. (let me NOT point my finger to South and Central America, Ireland or Israel). Just taking out Saddham won't make a dent in the world of terrorism, it will attract some more losers to join the holy war against everything that the Mulah will call upon. ... .. . how high can you fly with broken wings ... life's a journey not a destination

  3. Interesting reading! From a non US point of view, I would say, that one of the main reasons why Bush wants to knock down Sadam, is that he wants the American public to look away from their own domestic problems. Meaning the missing programs to really make the economy change for the better. Also to be able to support the huge lobby of arms manufacturers. (which happen to be all good friends of the Bush family...) But then again, what do we know over here about US politics... ... .. . how high can you fly with broken wings ... life's a journey not a destination

  7. It seems to me, that some countries or better their presidents just go to war, just to get their polls up using their dicks more than their brains. They start something and never finish it or get their asses kicked and leave. What is so wonderful about war? It seems to me, that with time we should be capable to learn, that war will NEVER solve a problem - it will just put if of for a later generation to finish and to deal with. Everybody is screaming for an UN resolution, but hell, there are some countries out there, that don't give a shit about UN resolutions and nobody is doing a damn thing about it. I saw the trains with refugees coming from Bosnia, when there was war there. I will never forget the expressions on the faces of the kids that exited the train. I felt ashamed, that human beings can do things like that to each other. I cried, when I saw the WTC towers come down. I scream, when I have to see cambodian and vietnam kids crippled because of agent orange. Why the fuck is it not possible to learn? It seems so easy to become an enemy to the US. Just have an other opinion and stay firm with it, and you'll get to feel the wrath of uncle sam. Looking forward to all the uplifting replies ... .. . how high can you fly with broken wings ... life's a journey not a destination

    Ketchup song?

first - the song sucks! Every summer somebody will have to come up with a new song for the summer vacation in Spain. The song came out first just in spanish and a english version followed, because the kids didn't know what the hell they were singing about. So in every disco in Spain, they would play that song and all the girls would jump up and do their little routine. *gag* It will come and go again. If anybody wants a mp3 version - just pm me and I'll have it emailed to you. My kids have it on cd and I have to suffer...so I'll share it with who ever wants to do that to him/herself... tgif ... .. . how high can you fly with broken wings ... life's a journey not a destination

  12. I own both a 150 Spectre and a 150 Sabre2. I have about 90 Jumps on the Spectre and 60 Jumps on the Sabre2 If packed right, the Sabre2 will give you some very soft openings like you're used to from the Spectre. I have not been spanked yet. You will find the Sabre2 almost boring, because the Spectre is a lot more agressive in turns. Yes you will have to adabt your landing habits, as the Sabre2 has a flatter glide. A two step landing is possible, but will take some getting used to. If I would have to choose again, I would take an other Spectre. I can fly that thing and park it anywhere I want. It took me a bit longer to do the same with the Sabre2. Anyway great canopy and safe. I would suggest to try a sabre2 first - maybe load it higher than the Spectre to get a similar performance. good luck ... .. . how high can you fly with broken wings ... life's a journey not a destination

  14. two and a half month in hospital. had no legs after impact (paralised from the waist down). accident happened on oct. 28, 2000; was back in the air march 10, 2001, had my first reserve ride on my 4th jump after the accident - was ready to pack it all up and walk away - I didn't (thank goodness). will be in trouble for the rest of my life with my back, but that' a price I'm willing to pay. I'll post a pict. of the metal when I'll get it out in november... ... .. . how high can you fly with broken wings ... life's a journey not a destination

  16. I can feel your pain. take your son an go run with him in a park. go do something that will make him (and you) laugh. do anything that will bring that spark back in his eyes. hug him, love him, kiss him, hold his hand and run with him, go and roll down a hill with him. make him feel that he is the center of your life. show him your feelings. give him the island he needs to escape to before he will go back to the pond of sharks. it's not by buying him a shitload of stuff or take him to his favorite junk-food place, that will make him long for you - no it's the love, shelter, peace that he will feel when he is with you, that will make him happy. about your ex? just make her feel like shit, by the way your son will be towards her every time she comes to pick him back up. nothing hurts more, than so see, that your kid does not love you as much as someone else (like your enemy!?) And when you’re back alone brother, take your rig, get on the next load, jump and scream out all your anger, frustration, pain, hate. a big brotherly hug coming your way - hang in there how high can you fly with broken wings ... life's a journey not a destination

  19. world government? I'm sorry, but imho this would be total BS. The power back in the hands of a few? Do you really think, that even if we would vote our representatives into power, that they would actually do what we are expecting them to do? Let there be light! THEY WON'T. Who ever has the strongest lobby will win and if you are on the wrong side of the court? Well good luck to you! As we live now, one country will not accept another country for whatever stupid reason. Be it because they have lower taxes or don't have the same view on politics or the wrong religion or no religion... wtf... Look at the chaos in countries, that never knew what democracy stands for. Now it stands for chaos and survival of the fittest. If that is the new world order - well thank goodness to I own more than one gun, because I would be the first one to call for a revolution (hasta siempre la revolution... or what ever Che used to say) . I still believe, that we are the ones that call the shots, we being the people that make a country. Our opinion is the one that matters and not the one of some huge conglomerate worldwide company that wants its interests protected by a so-called government. I have a first hand insight on what a pseuydo government is capable of doing here in Europe. To say it nicely - it stinks. What we as the people have to make sure is, that we never forget how to count...one vote for B... one vote for G... now let's go an catch some air, anybody up for some head-down action? Ready set go!!! ... .. . how high can you fly with broken wings ... life's a journey not a destination
  20. I started jumping (aff and all) in june 2000. I’m Swiss and so my drop-zone is in the south part of Switzerland. I got my license in September and had about 54 jumps. On October 28 2000, I went to a different drop-zone in Austria and went for a solo jump out of a caravan. The jump itself was a non-event except that I was way out and nowhere close to the landing spot. I left the brakes stowed and was just working with the back risers to make my way back. To make a long story short, everything went well until I had to land and slipped on the grass landed on my butt. My legs were gone on impact. I was paralysed from the waist down. It took at least 5 minutes, until someone noticed, that I didn’t get up. They airlifted me to a nearby hospital, did all the x-ray and cat-scan stuff and I was high as kite on drugs. My wife and kids had seen me come down and it was very hard on them. Anyway I requested to be moved to a special rehab clinic in Switzerland for paraplegics. I went through surgery on Sunday morning just to stabilize my back. At this point I didn’t have clue what was wasted in my back. 10 days later I had my second operation on my L1. They had to reconstruct the whole thing and attach it to the T12. I had to sacrifice a rib. Got my legs back and after two and a half month in the clinic I was able to go home again. Worked only 50% until the end of last year. Everyday I had to go through therapy and it paid of. On march 10, 2001 I was back in the air for the first time again after the accident. To say at least - it felt strange. Was I scared- shit yes, but I had to do it. I had to get back on my horse. There has been some terminal damage done to some of the nerves, but nothing that would stop me from jumping. how high can you fly with broken wings ... life's a journey not a destination
