  1. I'll see if I can explain it a bit more. Ok so say your basic "form" page asks a few questions.. (lets call this page form.htm for arguments sake) example SUBJECT FROM BODY hence the code below... "form.htm" Subject: From: Body: So that will make a basic page with input fields for the visitor to fill in those 3 things. You can change those fields to what ever you want. Now pay attention to this line this tells the "form.htm" page what to do once the user presses the 'submit' button. It will look for the "email.asp" page. Now lets talk a bit more about the "email.asp" page There is a couple lines here to pay attention too. mail.To = 'email address destination' Insert your email address there. Make sure these 3 lines match what you have on your "form.htm" page.. remember the 3 input fields that were created SUBJECT FROM BODY make sure they match what is in the (" ") below. example if you named something "Subject" above make sure it matches up as ("Subject") below.. mail. From = Request.Form("From") mail.Subject = Request.Form("Subject") mail.TextBody = Request.Form("Body") hope this helps.. Thanks to tilley13k for the above code, saved me having to type it all again.
  2. you're gonna get alot of responses like "your gonna die" or "your gonna break your legs if you fly that canopy" asking for downsizing advice on here is not the best idea. 1.3WL at ~30 jumps isnt that great of an idea either. Talk with your instructors.
  3. With purchasing online I prefer PayPal. You can either use a credit card through paypal or your bank account. It is a secure way of sending money internationally. (Make sure the person seems trustworthy because theres still no guarantee they will ship the goods)
  4. I use this combo and find it great. Only problem is the strap that comes with the viso isnt the greatest.
  5. If its happening before the canopy is out of the bag, sounds like it could be the PC to me. What size is it?
  6. jumper - third eye blind seen it on a base video a while ago.
  7. Just a quick Q on the 3-ring check. Why not spin the rings?
  8. lol I've heard them referred to as body markers. By the size of the container I couldn't imagine they would provide a whole lot of buoyancy. Although anything helps, even maybe If it holds my gear up If i have to swim away from it. That being if theres no chance of me drowning.
  9. Where I jump water gear is mandatory. I didn't like any of the waist belt flotation devices. AquaBouy is probably one of the smallest. I just leave it on my rig all the time.
  10. I transitioned down fairly quickly as well. Starting on a manta 280 for roughly 10 jumps.. then down to a 210 for roughly another 10. Bought my own gear which is a sabre 170 that i load just a bit over 1:1 (1.09:1) I didn't have much of a problem with this, how ever I did notice quite a bit of difference in the way you flare between student canopy's and my sabre. Im sure that is something you will notice between a manta and a spectre(7cell) as well. Just remember PLF could be your friend for the first few jumps getting use to it.
  11. I see you can even buy tunnel time. They offer a lot of cool things for the right amount of points.
  12. I also jump an original Sabre. Only time I have gotten slammed by it is when i decided to roll the nose, or mess with the packjob some how. I just flake it and quarter the slider so its nice and big, and don't let it move off the bumpers. That and a nice body position I get good openings.. usually within 45degress on heading as well. I only have about 50 jumps on this canopy so I dont have alot of experience but its what has been working for me. Loading around 1:1. I have also heard adding a 'dome' slider can help fix hard openings as well.
