    Yes, this is where I'm getting to. How many people just assume that they are in a relationship after something has taken place with a certain person, ie. sex, several dates, meeting family, etc... or it doesn't even have to be that involved. I know people can get emotionally and mentally involved with someone without ever meeting them, but do people consider that a relationship also? Ive done the online thing where we talked and feelings developed and what not. In the end it didnt work becasue people online one show the side they want you to see...so the "developing feelings while never meeting" i think is not true feelings...just speaking from my experiance. I changed mine on myspace the day i met my gf's mom and she told me welcome to the family.     I talked it over with my roommate and he is cool if anyone wants to come to florida to jump if they feel the withdrawls are too much. we will be jumping at Skydive Palatka which is about 40 minutes from where we live. I know how much im psyched about starting AFF and i know some of you are bummed that you cant jump due to weather. So if you have the funding and you really want to jump...our apartment is open to crash at to avoid spending even more money on hotel fees and what not.     I still would not reccommend it. I was once told by someone that has beenin the sport for 10 years..with a break in between. Skydiving is a gret sport when done safely. I know im new to the sport but i have been absorbing ALOT of information via this board and other sources. When you start adding variables you increase the risk of something bad happeneing. Granted you have to be somewhat crazy to be in this sport ot begin with...but adding something like paintballing..just makes it a serious accident waiting to happen...i dont care how careful you are.     ok..this is coming from someone that plays paintball on a regular basis...at least once a month. Paintballs typically fly out of the barrel at ~300 feet per second. This varies slightly depending ont he volumn left in the co2 canister. With this..although highly unlikely considering the variables of falling under canopy there is still that chance..if one would get hit in the face at a close range its a high risk that the face mask part that protects your eyes could shatter...or the paint cover the sight side of the facemask. Not to mention it could put holes through the canopy. Just something to think about. Skydiving is already a very high risk sport. Lets not make it anymore dangerous than it already is.     i have only jumped once..a tandem...i start aff next saturday. i asked one of my best friends if i talk about it too much...he said yes..but its something i love...so its all good. 24 hours inthe day...sleep for 4-6 of them. that leaves roughly 16 hours left...ill talk about skydiving and how much im going to/do love it about 15 hours....the other hour is spent eating the three meals during hte day....lol "Age has absolutely nothing to do with knowledge, learning, respect, attitude, or personality." -yardhippie "Fight the air, and the air will kick your ass!!!     i had to do that. i had a tooth semi knocked out during a hockey game(it didnt all come out)...and alieve wasnt cutting it. so i downed half a handle of jack...and hell..i couldnt feel anything...let alone the pain of the tooth being knocked out...     Exactly. I check last years W2 with last years december LES and it was the EXACT same information. Im singel with no dependants..so my taxes are very easy to fill out.     I HIGLY agree with the socks..not so much for the floor at the airport but for the nasty people hat dont belive in normal personal hygiene. When i flew from virginai the mississipi..while i was in norfolk going through security there was this dude that literally looked like he has some sort of viscous stuff growing off his feet..and he wasnt wearing socks. farkin nasty! I start AFF next saturday....would it be safe and not frowned upon if i brought a case to the dz and put it int he fridge till after the last load?     Being in the food service industry it is an invaluable asset to try different things. I learned early on in the field that you shouldnt knock something till you try it. Even though i may not like something..i still have to know how to prepare it. You never know when someone will ask you to cater a party and they may choose an item you dont like. Ive had it happen before..luckily someone told me that when i first started and i took their advice...and it has more than paid off. But yes i have tried a WIDE variety of other cultures cuisine.     well..if you dont want to go with the instability of the vodka sauce i would reccommend a Sherry sauce. IF you wnat a good recipe let me know and ill shoot it to ya!
