All good points to consider! We need to discuss the ENTIRE DIVE during debriefs, in all disciplines. We all know the dive isn't over once we pull, so why do most freefall debriefs usually end at the track/pull......? CRW jumpers: why does the debrief usually end at the starburst....? Camera jumpers: Why shut digital video off, ever, before you land? Most of the canopy collision deaths are happening to experienced jumpers below 3,000ft. The most overlooked & under-evaluated part of our skydive is killing us. We know where we need to focus: the canopy descent and landing pattern. Starting with the dirt dive & ending with the debrief. Why do whuffos walk on skydiving gear?

Got a problem with minorities, eh? I like being in the minority of people who really understand their gear though, it's cool. Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want. -

If you are so anal about your 'life saving device', then you'd never even set it in a packing area. I love it how the rest of the world is expected to respect your valuables when you throw them on the floor in the middle of a bunch of strangers. yeah Muppet :( This huuuuuurts so bad Love ya man April Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.

Ahhh, No it's not Bud Lite Can you pass out on that piss anyway? I miss you!!! I think I might not do a costume this year, but i've got a pretty funny idea, so maybe...... DZ.com is lame. It took me like a f*ckin hour to upload those pix, resizin 'em and shit, thinkin, ooooo jumpers will like these!!! Forgot, most people on here don't jump, and wouldn't know what a cutaway handle looks like off their rig anyway or a pilot chute if it hit em in the face!

"Maybe the rigger did a "test pack" to determine if the volume was compatible and accidentally shipped it. That might happen to an over-worked rigger. ????????????????????????????? Sickening. Hope that poor over-worked rigger has a f*cking day job, because it's time to give up the ticket. Pathetic and inexcusable. and those Swedes aren't so stupid after all, hey? What an awesome weekend!! THANK YOU Redline, CA CRWdawgs, all the CRW peeps who traveled, CRWjudges, and everyone at Lodi. Thank you to my teammates: John Bechtel, Brian Martin, Jason Smith, and Jim Rasmussen. I learned a ton and had so much fun along the way. NOT ONE CHOP all weekend! I've never been so focused/nervous about landing back at the airport than I was at Lodi, nice job team! The weather was perfect for us to knock out 24 jumps, most of which were competition practice with nice bigways at the end of the jump day. Can't really describe what a cool feeling it is to be on the same ride to altitude with friends you're competing with, but at the same time all want you to do your very best. Good attitudes all around! Redline did kick everyone's ass :) Rightfully so! Watching them is amazing and inspiring at the same time. Hopefully someone can post all the scores or places from the WCCC weekend. Redline, you are pure class! Thank you so much. Good Luck in China!! Show 'em how it's done!! Mind your own business?? It's a STD that is knowingly being spread!!! I'd tell an enemy that f*cking information, come on! Aren't we all part of the same society?? STDs are everyone's problem and don't care about friendships. I've had to tell a friend the chic he was banging had the herp. Had to: because it's the right thing to do. I found out she had the herp because she told me around the bonfire when she was drunk. She had already been sleeping with my friend who was unaware. She made it my business, and nothing I ever wanted to have to tell a friend, that's for sure. He appreciated it that I told him, although not what I told him. As far as betraying her trust: Guess how much I care about betraying a liars' trust? She lost my respect, not when she told me she had a STD, but when she didn't tell my friend she was banging that she had a STD. I don't respect that whatsoever, so where does my loyalty lie? With the human race, since because of this completely irresponsible behavior we all have to deal with 1 in 5 having herpes. Not telling someone you are having sex with that you have a STD is a f*cking lie, not some special secret that your friends are assholes for not keeping. The future depends on us acting, not on us 'minding our own business' when it comes to the preventable spread of disease. If your mouth is always too full to tell your partner that when they shove it in another orifice they will have fire-dick for the rest of their life, then you should have "I Have Herpes" tattooed on your goddamn neck. Time for me to go back into remission Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.

Wow, you sure do bitch alot. My turn: I had to miss this boogie for the first time in years because of work issues. Jason, Viv, all the DZ members, and the locals are the nicest people you can have the pleasure of meeting, if you aren't a whiny asshole. I live in WI and was doing CRW in zero temps landing on a frozen lake, loving life, and you wanna bitch about having to spend time with yer girlfriend in beautiful sunny warm PR on a beach?? Shut up! Then again, I don't know her. Tell her to go jump more and get her c,d, and pro then you can both quit bitchin about what you 'deserve'. Where's my boogie bag, where's my refund, where's my ride, where's my purse??? Right where I left my tiny f*cking violin. So you feel because you traveled & spent money, that weather, winds, trees, surf, responsibility, and common sense don't apply to you? Grow up. My biggest complaint about this boogie has been, and always will be, having to fly back into Chicago on the way home. Culture shock going from a beautiful island full of laid back beautiful people to a city full of assholes such as yourself. Blue Skies all the same, April Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.

If you had my narcotics or my Gramma's heart meds, I'd be at your door before you could call me too. And, believe me, it wouldn't have anything to do with good customer service.... Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.

Hey All, Just wanted to say it's been great getting out of the WI cold to go to this beautiful part of FL. Unfortunatly it was winded out-5 loads risked it the first day, but 30mph is too much for me! The party on Sat. was fun because I got to reunite with Tammy and Scotty Carbone, Johnny-on-the-spot& Jess which was worth the trip, but I had to drop a line and say that I miss the CRW family. When we showed up it wasn't like when you all embrace us. Hugs and smiles and stories...it was sad to me that that love wasn't there. I have to say the bond we all share is priceless to me, makes me feel loved, and you treat skydivers like we should be, not cliquey, not too good to talk to me, or share a beer with me. So thank you all for being the best community that doesn't cold shoulder anyone. Get yer asses to Z-hills this weekend....I need some love & jumps!! CRW Love, April Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.

Any word on a CRW org., yet? I plan on being there anyway, but was wondering, is all. Thanks, April Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.
-
Offend me? No way, I'm pretty! Are you wrong? Yes, remarkably so! Is this a waste of my time? Of course, but it's too cold to jump. When you have a canopy collision, your 'definition' of CRW is gonna do you jack-shit. Take some responsibility, really. And that taste in your mouth? Shame, guilt, embarrassment, latex... I dunno. April Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.

Much thanks for educating me on the SIM's def. of CRW. Now maybe I can finally understand the hundreds and hundreds of stacks, planes, off-sets, rotations, and beginner CRW classes I've been involved with...maybe. So I'll share my thoughts that I shared with the OP, which he thanked me for, since he said he didn't really think of it as a CRW jump until I brought it up: "For what it's worth, I think it was a good idea. About a year or two ago Chris Gay was trying to integrate CRW into the AFF program. He took his nephew up doing AFF and did CRW with him during the canopy descent. Realizing the importance of this skill set for all skydivers. I don't think you were in the wrong and actually encourage what you are doing,( but I also don't know if you are some un-safe, arrogant, complacent, jumper, either. and if you are: chances are you don't know it either---just for the 'I don't know you and this is the internet' disclaimer. hahaha) Wasn't trying to be pissy about technicalities, but too many jumpers view CRW like wuffos view skydiving. We all do Canopy Relative Work when we are in the air with other canopies, but people lose sight of that with 'Big Sky Theory' and all the 'scary shit' that can happen. Scary shit happens when people fuck up: doing both contact and no-contact CRW. Dealing with it, and more importantly avoiding it, is where CRW training is very valuable. You obviously know this if you are trying to get others comfy in the air. Big-way RW organizers have said that if they had two jumpers with the same RW skill level, and they had to choose one for a big-way, that they would pick the one who took a CRW class over a canopy course~that speaks volumes. If both jumpers took the CRW class, I'd guess I'd pick the cuter one Thank you! & Blue Skies, April" Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.
-
"I dont personally consider this a CRW jump..." What? Why not? If you are sharing airspace with others: they are all CRW jumps! Please educate yourself and others with this basic concept. I find it very frustrating that most jumpers do not understand this. April Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.

Went to our DZ this past Thurs. and did a sunset memorial jump for them. I'll share this story just to 'lighten the load' a bit. Razz, Linda Lu, and myself went up with bottles of Spotted Cow ( a good WI beer, figured passin a bottle of Jack in a stack wasn't too bright). Razz had them in a flag bag with lanyards (line with a loop on the end) tied to them. I docked on Razz, we planed-up, Linda put a sweet dock on me, planed-up. While Razz was poppin beer caps they were whizzin by Linda's face, and then he lowered the bottle to me to lower to Linda. Since I jump a 113 Lightning and Linda a 143 it started getting really funky, so I shimmied back up, beer in hand, thinking how the hell am I gonna get this beer to her now? So with my left arm on her one redline, and a beer in my right, I told her to get light and I pulled myself down on the one line while trying to get the Spotted Cow to her with my right arm with a lanyard that was too short. Finally got it to her, zipped back up, grabbed my beer dangling in front of my face, asked Razz if he was ready with his, and then did the proper toast to Barb and then to Robby. It was hard to yell while choking back tears, and hard to drink when crying, but it was a beautiful sunset, and we had our Cessna 182 circling our three stack. I don't know how to deal with loss besides jumping....it made me feel better. It's sad to me that I'm quite experienced at CRW memorial dives. I'd much rather hand you a beer on the ground after a CRW jump, so please be safe all of you. CRW Love Always, April Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.

The two 25-ways will count as they were done consecutively within 24hrs. The 15-way was technically unofficial, since no one but Mike and I knew we were gonna break it, it wasn't declared or anything, just fun as hell! Hey, I got my 12 hrs. of glory!!!! The ticker tape parade is still going on in my head and it's a bit hard to hear through all the applause! Thanks to everyone who made it to WI. We missed all of you that couldn't. Great vibes, weather, attitudes, enthusiasm, flying, video, organizers, landings (except for T-tree in the backyard!). Really looking forward to next year, and yep, "we're gonna need a bigger boat"! Go big or go home! Sky Knights, you all rock! Love to all, April Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.

We've been at our home DZ jumping/camping, not on a computer. My apologies, I will give you his phone number via PM, and just be patient and keep trying...he gets really shitty phone reception up in the air. Although he is getting better at texting, with his toes!,while piloting,... his phone is usually sittin in his gear bag. No worries, it's all good.
