Thanks for replying to my post. There is only one thing that is more important to me than jumping and that is my kids. I get so frustrated with myself for little things! It would be great to know if we met... I have only been at Sebastian 3 times, but I totally love the atmosphere and people. Not a clickish thing about the entire DZ.. wish I could say that for other FL DZ's....

I have 5 years in the sport, but low jump numbers... I wont jump in anything gusting over 13mph... just my personal safety range. Especially for a recurrency jump (which I have many). IMHO, when you are getting current after a lay off, you should want conditions to be as ideal as possible, thats just one less thing you have to worry about, thus allowing you to totally focus on your jump.

That little gap bugged me too, and on my 2nd jump my boyfriend is one the who stepped across the gap to open the door... that flipped me out. Aint that the silliest thing ever!!! All the way up on the first jump my boyfriend was pointing out land marks thru the little gap and, yeah I just didnt like it a whole lot... I will jump the van again, I wont let anything like that kick my butt....

THANKS!!! So far it has been the best birthday ever! Made two amazing jumps with my boyfriend Saturday in Sebastian from the skyvan and then came home to a suprise party from my kids!!! Yes, being born on tax day hasnt always worked in my favor

That INFURIATES me!!!! That is such BS... I'd like to blame it on the ignorance of "big city" cops, but I wont. That could have been handled so much better! -
Of course the cops are gonna make up a story to "CYA"... but you can't argue the fact that they (cops) were wrong when the dog had surgery, especially spine surgery.

I agree with you 100%, and I am already past "the is it worth it phase", thats why Im so flipped over my nerves.... I actually crave jumping and when I go a bit w/o a jump, I get fairly grouchy...
