  3. I fly thru that airport alot, it makes me wonder what gauge they were... I have an 18 ga hood piercing and it has never caused problems... If they ever told me to take it out, I would throw all kinds of a fit... not worth it to me. If the metal can be explained they should let it go.

  6. Ive been jumping for 5 years and from the get go I've been interested in 4 way. My skydiving history has been stop and go, but now nothing is in my way and I really want to get it going. I have done five 4 way jumps and to be honest, I feel really lost. I have about 5 hrs total in the tunnel and trying to get more all the time. I try to get in on 4 way jumps any chance I get and I always tell the others Im new at this. I have dreams of being on a team one day and competing, but in the mean time, what is the best way to learn about the different formations, and basically all the in's and outs of RW. Thanks!
  7. He logged in 2 days ago (3/26/08) so he's lurking... I for one would love to see this mystery finally solved and put to rest. I don't know why, but I have always felt like he (DB Cooper) survived... just a hunch..
  8. Have a wonderful filled bday!!!1
  9. Also Sebastian is 1.5 hrs from Orlando, great vibes, great people. I agree with Andrea on Islands of Adventure, fantastic place!!!!! The Hulk and Dueling Dragons are two AWESOME Roller coasters. Also You must go on Spiderman, its not a rollercoaster, but I can guarantee you too loose your tummy, and have a few oh shit moments. Ive rode it several times and it still gives me those reactions....
  10. Ive wondered from time to time where you where... did you make it to Florida ok? And if so, when do I get to jump with ya?
  11. Remember this is the guy who spray painted his balls gold....
  12. Really? I have no medical background whatsoever, but I was under the impression that all these shows were full of bullshit. No actually they are not. I watched them before I went to school and all the way thru school. Its funny, can still remember the episode when I heard some medical ER lingo for the first time and I knew what they were talking about. Im sure some of it is "dressed" up for TV, but the bare bones of it is very factual as are the procedures and intruments that they use.
  13. Yes I saw that, being in school to be an EMT, I watch all the shows like that, because it is a very good learning tool. I was totally amazed tho that his bladder was the only thing injured. Lady luck was definitly on his side that day! OUCH!!!!
  14. So that must mean I count.... Oh gawd.... here comes the flaming....
  15. You can always approach Job X and tell them that you recieved a counter offer from Job Y making more money and see if job X will match it... Ive done that before and it worked in my favor...
  16. Absolutely nothing if you enjoy waddling like a duck to keep them up along with telling the world "I'm an idiot". I do not think there should be laws against it, but definitely should not be allowed in public schools. Having said that, I think it's bad parenting to allow it at all because it may mean the kid is either in or courting the wrong crowd, although I'll admit that the phenomenon has become more "mainstream" now. My fiance is a director at a "boot camp" diversion program for kids -- last chance before jail -- so through her I've got an eye into just who's entering the program. Guess what, virtually all of them come from the saggy pants/exposed butt floss crowd! Every kid will find ways to say "I'm different" -- it's a normal part of establishing one's identity. But saggy pant syndrome is NOT a positive way to do that. Successful parents do not allow their kids to express themselves in negative ways -- or at least discourage it depending on the age of the kid. In the case of saggy pants (and colors), the attire and the behavior seem to be very much intertwined. Well said!!!!
  17. I was wondering the same thing.... Looked like the left sleeve/side had been ripped off? After some of the things she has done on this season, Im questioning her sanity....
  18. SHHHHH.... be quiet Psycho!!!! Bolas already watches Oprah & Martha Stewart!!!! I do not!!! I watch Tyra and Dr. Phil. Its ok my friend, the closet door isnt scarey...just walk towards the light, we will all still love you....
  19. That is one of the things I am very consistant on. I always get compliments when I take them out in public on how well behaved they are... Im so proud of that!
  20. Yes but my parents where very old fashioned and I was raised that way and its not quite 10 years before I was born....
  21. The goverment has taken virtually all parents rights away from them. So we have to turn to someone for help, because they have made it to where we cant help ourselves or take care of our own... Exactly, the government is trying to take control. We need to take control back. We don't do this buy letting the government create more laws ... Touche' So what do we do? I would love to get on the wagon to help get some of our rights back...but how?
  22. I absolutely agree with this sentiment. I disagree with the idea that Government Aggression is the best tool for the job of achieving it. We need to get away from this automatic assumption that just because we want something to get done, that therefore the Government must pass yet another law. We can achieve a better society without the government butting in for every little thing. we have WAAAY too many laws already. I agree 100%, but when parents hands are tied, and you can fear loosing your kids for legitimate discipline these days, who do you turn too. America is going to hell in a handbasket. I grew up getting knocked down everytime I got out of line and its the best thing my dad could have ever done for me. And why are parents hands tied ... laws. And yet you want the government to pass another law. The goverment has taken virtually all parents rights away from them. So we have to turn to someone for help, because they have made it to where we cant help ourselves or take care of our own...
