I am looking to buy a 170 and friend of mine has a Lotus 170. All I know about it, is that is an air-locked canopy. Would it be ok for basically a beginner jumper that would load it a .83? Any info about this canopy and its characteristics would be great. I just sold my Triathalon 150 and am wanting to upsize to a 9 cell 170. Thanks!

There are several cases of price gouging being investigated here in Florida. on my way to Tampa Friday night I stopped at a Flying J and it was 4.39/gal, across the street at TA it was 3.99. I went over there only to get into Tampa and find 3.59. Flying J and TA are two of the companies being investigated by Gov. Crists' office right now.... I hope the bastards get a big fine....

Yeah I have been keeping up with this... IMHO, Caylee is dead and now that her mother (term used loosely) is out of jail, she will off herself at her first given opportunity. IMHO, I think she Chloroformed Caylee for whatever reason, left her in the trunk and returned later to find a dead kid. God (literally) only knows what she did with her from that point. I believe there is a special place in hell for parents who kill their kids.

Yeah I thought about that, but I think that would get very old very quick.... Plus a lot of them around here wont work with you to go to school and since I eventually want to go to Medic school which is on "A" shift everywhere around here, holding my breath for the county is my best bet. Plus they will pay for it. EMT's don't get paid squat here, so unless I can find a 24/48 gig to get on with which will guarantee me 40 hrs per pay period of ot, I wont be able to afford to leave the job I have now. My county starts EMT's at 8.76/hr . The 40 hrs of OT is the only way I could even consider it....
