My hubby says that I am close minded. I know what I have done, some stuff is pretty out there, and I just want ya'lls opinion on what it means to be close minded to you. What brought this on, was last night I made the comment that I don't like "slapstick" comedy, I don't think (in most cases) being blatently stupid is funny... for Ex. The Naked Gun Movies, couldn't get in to it. I love a good comedian tho, The Blue Collar guys are some of my fav's. So chime in and let me know what it is to you that makes a person close minded. My husband believes it is okay to hit a woman if she puts herself in a man's position. I can't say I agree totally, but there are some great big women who could put a hurtin on a man. I was raised old school and traditional & taught that a real man would never lay his hands on a woman. But, I can also see my husbands side too.

I think the 3 strongest performers last night were Melinda, Jordin & Blake, with Lakisha & Chris so close you can't tell, Haley & Phil were 3rd and Salmonella as my hubby calls him, sucked like normal. Did ya'll here KFC gave him some big deal to do ads for them for their chicken bowl, but he had to get his hair bowl cut. I thought my hubby was FOS last night but then the little dweeb did have his hair cut in a bowl, I haven't heard anything confirming it, but it seemed true after I saw his hair...

Does anyone know of any available financing for gear? Do to being a mom of 4 amongst other things, saving money for a new rig or even a decent used one is nearly impossible for me ( but I could easily make a payment). Thanks in advance for any tips.

Not commenting on the rest because I agree there, but speaking to the arms crossed thing...I do it - not 'cause I'm not approachable or don't want to be talked to - but because I'm frickin' freezing most of the time. So...if you see me doing that, make the assumption that I'm cold. Thank you also, my hubby is always getting on to me for having my arms crossed, I've told him time and time again its because I'm freezing.... he just doesnt get it...

I think most of the time they're really not self-involved but just shy. Thank-you thank you thank-you I'd rather chew my foot off than to approach someone I don't know if its on a make friends basis. I feel like I'm like a lost puppy looking for someone to take me in. So most of the time, I just keep to myself.

My hubby is a TM and has been for years... at the DZ he is at now, they have a sign up that says tipping is not expected but really appreciated. On a regular basis he gets $10 to $20 dollars. I think it should be a case by case basis, if you had a great time and your TM really worked his arse off for you then give him or her a deserving tip. Not speaking first hand, but being a TM is a hard job and the guys & (girls) really appreciate anything your willing to throw their way as an extra thanks!

Is it possible to resize the main pack tray and it be safe? I don't like cutting corners, and I want to be safe, but my rig has a 220 main pack tray and well if I jumped a 220, I'd never come down.. my exit weight is roughly 135 out the door.... sorry if this question is stupid, but it seemed logical to me....

i worked at Tampa Bay Downs when I was 15 to 18 exercising horses, I'm no genius, but my meager advice is bet on a trifecta, (thats betting on 3 horses, win place or show or 1, 2, 3) also do your research, books are available (free at the race) that tell about the horses, how many they have one, best times, and whether or not they have one more on dirt or turf. Also, the jockies have alot to do with it and how long they have been riding and their skills, when to hold a horse and when to push him etc... good luck!

She just turned 48.... I just talked to my uncle on the phone, the sensible one to the two, he has given my aunt a week to place them in new seperate homes or he's taking them behind the barn... bang bang dead dogs.... In the mean time, my uncle has assured me they will be locked in their kennels other than the few minutes to go to the bathroom. Thanks to everyone for your concern. I'll let ya'll know when the dogs are gone...

I just called animal control to see if they would give me any info on when they were at my aunt's. They told me there is nothing they can do to the dogs, nor can they take them, as long as they are on their property. I am absoultely sick and terrified for my kids. They said I could make a statement and it would be on file, in the event anything happened with the dogs on my property. I can't afford to move, and I just don't know what to do. I already have PTSD from an event when my middle son was 18M old, it's almost to the point where I can't work, I can't think, Im totally consumed with "what if" and there's nothing I can do... those of you who have given advice thanks! Any suggestions on how I could do away with these dogs would be great... I shouldn't have to be afraid to let my kids play outside on my land in the middle of no where....

Well, my Aunt called me last night, the dogs were not destroyed, She is giving the female to her son in S. Carolina, and her other son who lives in Orlando is taking the male. Animal control said there was nothing they could do becuase they are there dogs and they are killing there animals, and well my daughter's pig was too long ago, it doesnt count anymore. I can't make them understand the magnitude of this problem. There is no making them understand. The son in SC has livestock also, I hate to see whats gonna happen. I'm gonna talk to man were buying the house from and see if he has any other property, that would work, at this point, I just wanna protext my kids. I have a feeling they wont follow thru giving them away, time will pass, the dogs will temporaily behave and they will not go anywhere. I have never had to actually consider harming an animal, in an unconventional way, but it may come to that since the law wont do anything and well I've already said what I think will more than likely transpire.

Have a friend call. The sooner the better. While I'm an animal lover through and through, those dogs are no longer "pets". Replace "child" with "colt" in your previous description of what they did. I have many times, I am sick... animal control wasnt there very long, maybe its becuase the dogs are already dead... Good luck to you!
