Mr. Blevins do you remember my having to correct you about a statement you made very early on about the note being handed to Tina Mucklow - that was Me who corrected you. I told you - you needed to get your FACTs together before writing a book. I have noted that you did make that correction. I have been told that Himmelsbach talked unkindly about me in your book - but, he did NOT. You claimed to have interviewed Tina - you did NOT. When a simple simon such as myself can pick these things out, then you need to rethink the whole thing. Your book has not been recieve well by those of us who know this case and I am not talking about individuals like myself who have a subject of our own. IF you are here to sell your book - good luck. When you misrepresent interviews you supposedly had - I suggest you present tapes of those interviews, because when someone else talks to them they are told a very different story and DENY having spoke with you or your representative. The picture you presented of Christainsen pretending to be Cooper is an absolute JOKE. I have not read your book other than the few pages I was able to get for free. My personally communications with individuals you claimed to have interviewed -denied the interviews. I have talked to 3 of these individuals - in recent weeks. Another thing you seem to be unaware of. It was NOT Agent Carr who made the Dan Cooper Comic suggestion (connection). When I focused on the TRIP Duane and I made in Sept, of 1979 - a lot has happened. This Mesker Map dated 1974 has opened up Pandora's Box. Just one surprise after another and another! Duane did NOT lie to me about the places and the people - if ALL of that was true then ---Well, I just don't know what to think. It is useless to contact the FBI - they just say put it in a box or write them a letter. I am TOO scatterbrained to organize this "shit" into a worded document they would pay any attention to. This is when I really really need some help, because I cannot do this alone. Had I not been writing an Email to a friend about some things that are common between us - I would not have gone where I did the other night (I did not get off the computer until 5:14 that next morning). I was remembering some of the things Duane had told me over the yrs and going thru all the things I had found...things that said he was in WA during the mid to late 40's. I started talking about some other things he had told me over the yrs (not related to WA or Cooper) and zeroed in on a specific thing Duane had told me several times. I always just thought "Oh, yea - sure!" Well, when I got off the computer with this person - I keyed in this particular subject...expecting to find Duane was as some will say just "talking nonsense". What I found still has my mouth WIDE open. He had claimed to know a certain famous person - and I just never believed it. WELL, I have been on the phone today and I have more phone calls to make tomorrow, but the history of this famous person - puts the 2 of them in a specific place in WA at the same time...very small population back in those days. All I could think was "What the F---!" That is exactly what I said over and over the other night. I was angry at myself for not having checked this out yrs ago. Does it prove he was Cooper? NO, but then again it puts him in WA with known individuals during a specific time frame...the very time frame the FBI and others have scoffed at. The next two days will be very busy ones - I have so many phone calls to make it is amazing - thank Heavens for unlimited long distance. I made one phone call last night to an individual who was able to give me a LOT of information due to his personal contacts. This is an unknown person to this forum who has an altogether different subject than Grey, Cook or myself. One would think "Why consort with the competition?" BECAUSE my motive is not a book or movie - it is for the truth and to prove I have not lied nor misrepresenting my finding. This very famous gentleman provided me with phone numbers to contact the persons and groups and / or their representatives. Sluggo has many times said I don't see myself they way other perceived me. I don't give a hoot! All I want is the truth and I am doing what I have to do to find that truth. I have no idea what the readers of this forum think - I know I am admonished by a couple of posters for how I go about things - but, I am only doing what I know how to do and that is PUSH and PUSH and GO FORWARD. I have no perceptions - just things I have been told and things I have learned and what I held in my own hands. I have made - with what means I have - a concerted effort to learn all I can about the past of Duane W. Weber. A package went off today to WA and this package was expensive for me to put together (no, it is not going to the FBI). All the FBI ever says is "Can you put him on the plane". They want physical proof Duane Weber was on that plane - therefore one would deduce that the FBI is aware of one or more items that may have been in the possession of Cooper. Since I don't know what they are looking for - I could be sitting on them. It would be simple for them to swear me to an oath and run certain things past me - fake and real - to see if anyone of those might be something I still possess. I got rid of so much after Duane died and before I knew who "Dan Cooper" was. Money, bag, chutes, harnesses, ticket, matches, bag carried on, the money, a book, a piece of jewerly, a picture - how am I supposed to know what to look for. The FBI need keep NO secrets at this late a date - because when Cooper died or dies - most people just throw out most things - because some of them like me think they are just old useless junk - especially if they didn't know who Cooper was. What would anyone with a lick of COMMON sense believe regarding the FBI keeping secrets - for 38 yrs. Usually 38 is the magic yr. for most things of this nature - except when it concerns what was considered National Security in 1971 or something that would endanger the accountability of our own government regarding all of their secrets. I suppose it would be far too cynical to respond that that wouldn't be an excuse for yet another tease ... I haven't got time for teases - and if you guys didn't pick me apart and cause me to spend too much time defending myself, I will get a lot more done. Busy Busy Day tomorrow and lots of pictures to scan and air express and lot of phone calls to make. I should have done what I am doing yrs ago...but some of this we didn't have until about 18 months ago and stories I had heard yrs ago seemed insignificant - I am now learning nothing is insignificant if I am ever going to learn the truth about Duane L. Weber. If some of you guys want to help and I mean really help just contact me - especially if you live in WA or OR...and know some of the OLD OLD timers - now is the time and it is probably too late, but I am doing everything in my power to bring this together NOW and not when I am no longer here to defend myself. What does Mooney Bible Institute of Chicago mean to WA? I know, but do any of you know? What I needed to know about them they do NOT reveal in their sites. I am investigating this only because in 1947 they started a program training missionary pilots and mechanics. Their site then jumps off and it seems this was done in TN, but in 1947 they did not have a school in TN. It will take a TEAM of investigators if I am going to get this done any time soon. This Institute might not have a darn thing to do with Duane, but it is something I am looking at because of something he said and his friend said over the yrs. Remember that Ed Huran was supposedly a airplane or helicopter pilot and/or mechanic and he knew Duane from WA. This institute was in the area he took me to in Clark County...but, to my recollections he did NOT mention it...so may just be a co-incidence. Duane's brother and sister told me that Duane was sent to a place (not McNeil) because family or friends of the family intervened and got him into a program that was going to help him. What were Duane's skills in his teens and after he left the Navy? What potentials did he have and what would families in those day do to help their wayward son? Duane had told me he wanted to be a pilot, but his eye site was not 20/20 - therefore that dream was a wash....how did he know he could not pass a pilots physical? In the military was always my thinking - but who am I? I never thought about private pilots...and not military pilots. Got to go fishing at Fishers Landing and Clark County some more. Thank You so much - If I had been able to do the searching this girl did for me - in the archives and other seaches on the internet - I might be a few steps ahead right now. I search but I come up with all kinds of junk I am unable to sort through. Duane talked about Government Island while we where in Wa. - it was brief - but, it had something to do with him working on it. Outside of that I don't remember squat what he said about that island - too many yrs...and I had so many other things to remember. I did mention this island in a conversation with Himmelsbach. I figured Government Island and McNeil went hand in hand and never gave it another thought...and Now YOU tell me it is close to this Fishers Landing. See what I mean - no one took the time to sit down with me and the facts and really pick my brains for a few weeks...and I didn't know what was important and what wasn't. I wish back in 1996 I could have got on a plane and went to WA and spent several days with a PI, but that was just an unaffordable quest at that time and even today the PI would be out. Maybe all I will be able to prove is that Duane was in WA for a few yrs., but right now I think it is going further than that. A young lady came into my life a few weeks ago by way of a letter. She did not have a phone number for me, but was determined to get in touch with me. I responded and the discoveries that have happened since are amazing - this girl is amazing. She has spent hours pouring over old records in the court house. According to the FBI research (if they researched Duane's yrs in WA) there was nothing to be found. I have spent hours on the phone with the various contacts this led me to and hours on the computer going over the things she sent me. She sent by mail things I never heard of - maps I didn't know existed and old newpaper clippings of incidents I had never heard of. Sluggo told me to research Duane and in doing so - it is showing - Duane told me truths on that trip. We are still in the Washougal and Cames area with the current information. Next on to The Dales and Goldendale and then on to Brush Prairie and so on. In the process of sending pictures to certain subjects - problem with this is everyone who knew anything died within the last 6 yrs and/or are in nursing homes...but some of the families are willing to look at photos I have and reference them to photos they might have. There are some old family photos I have NEVER MADE public and we are hoping this is going to help us establish - Duane and his family's connections in Washington State and in Oregon. She found this - an old article in the newspaper (she did not put the name of the paper on the article - last part is CORD, but the date is Wednesday, Dec. 15, 1971) and note that all I can do is type the article and the media never published names in those days, but hopefully someone can help me locate Fishers Landing on the Columbia. This is tying in with something else my guy found we are not willing to give up just yet.

If a skyjacker handed me a note and said - You had better read that note miss and looked me straight in the eyes as Florence has claimed. - I would remember the color of those eyes. If I sat beside a man and he was the only one in the cabin and he was a skyjacker - I would try to remember everything about that man I could. No one has said if Tina looked at him without his sun glasses. Chances of Cooper having blue eyes are very very slim. Again I have mentioned yet another Bradon (not Braden), but no one wants to go there, because they think it is too FAR OUT. If Duane was imprisoned under John Collins and he was not accessible many times (at Jefferson) during the jail time (due to being in solitaire) - WHY would they give this man a Commutation of Sentence. Solitare does not exemplify a model prisoner? So why was Duane Weber (John Collins) actually in Jefferson? Note that Duane's past from 1962- 1969 places him in N.Orleans. on more than one occasion and in the company of someone else implicated in the investigation of JFK and Oswald. Note this time encompasses before, during and after this encarceration. Was the "Grudge" because Collins got the clean slate and not Weber? Where promises made that weren't kept? I have refrained from discussing this over the yrs - but at this time I have absolutely NOTHING to loose since many are convinced I am a liar and a teller of stories - just as well tell the rest of it. Was Duane in N.Orleans after he "left" Jefferson and WAS HE KNOWN to be in the company of one of the KEY individuals in that long drawn-out investigation? Certain individuals were NEVER questioned - by the FBI regarding Weber...and I understand their reasons for not doing so....that doesn't make it right. This has paid off big time with in the last 2 days. A woman who lives in the area offered to help me and spent a day in the archives. Everything I told the FBI was there - but now it is 14 yrs later. I was not able to put names to the individuals. This has been done now - and the last one died last yr. We are hoping to find enough relatives who might have pictures or remember stories their father and grandfather told. Duane Weber lived and worked in WA - but, until we interview these people we do not know under what name. More than one WW11 vets are among these individuals. What did the FBI tell me - put it in a box and mail it to us - OVER my dead body! I have more verification to do and might possibly have to fly to WA. What did Duane do for or with the knowledge of the CIA or FBI or other organization between 1962 and 1968 that would cause the authorities to look the other way in 1971? Now for more. I found this album tucked in with my collection (I have only scratched the surface in the review of collection). Since I planned on scaling down I was picking out some to have put onto CDs - I prefer listening to only one recording artist on a disc - not the combo's they put together today of the oldie and you have to sit there and try to figure out who is singing what. This album is a Columbia recording of Andy Williams made in 1963 called Days of Wine and Roses. I need to find out where and when the photos on the album were made. Please note the album was NOT part of my collection, but one Duane had tucked into it...wonder how much more I will find? Today I was talking to someone about Dollar Corner and this person was unware this was part of the story I have told many times. So for those of you who seem to be unaware of this Connection to Washington that Weber had - here I go again. On the trip I made with Duane in 1979 to WA after we had made our way back to Hwy 500 and before we went onto I-5, Duane pointed up a road and told me about a place called Dollar Corner - he mentioned a tavern there he used to frequent and I believe he said general store/or feed store. He told me he knew a man there, but we weren't going there today - it was late and we needed to get on up the road to Seattle. At this same time he mentioned how the pipelines and powerlines intersected in the area around Dollar Corner. When I went back to WA in 2001 the documentary crew and I went to this tavern and spoke to some men there. One man by the name of SNOW took me aside and gave me the name of a man and some general directions to where this person lived. I was given the impression this man I needed to find was somewhat of a hermit. Snow told me the pictures I showed them resembled a man who used to come in yrs back to sing for his drinks - this singer was somewhat of a ladies man. He told me this "hermit" man might remember who the guy was and provide me with some more information. The crew and I looked and looked for this "hermit", but it was getting late and we finally gave up. Maybe Snow was just yanking my chain. Now with new information about this - I don't think so. This is the tavern that Jerry claimed was torn down several months prior to my going to Wa in 2001. That was not true and now the tavern may have been torn down for the new highway. BUT, it was still there in 2001. Today I was told a newspaper in the area had written a story about this Tavern in Dollar Corner - I was told the article listed the history of owners and I have been trying to obtain this article...but, so far no luck. It may have been in the Battleground Reflector or another newpaper in the area. One the ladies who was with me after the crew left - on my last day in WA. used to go to the Tavern in Dollar Corner back in her dating yrs. She thought the man in the picture was a man who used to sing there and the one song he always sang was San Francisco. The three songs that Duane always sang at piano bars was 1. San Francisco, 2. Sentimental Journey and 3. You Will Never Know. Now I am chasing down another man who was known to play and sing there - I am hoping his memory is not failing and that he will be willing to talk to me and view some photos - he may well have photos himself. Another wild goose chase that will prove Duane was Cooper! - NO, it will only prove that what he told me in 1979 was the truth. If I can prove lots of little things are true that I told the FBI and that Duane told me - then that just puts me one more step closer to the truth - whatever that truth is. I have asked the forum for help about lots of things lately and hopefully some of you have friends or relatives in WA who would be willing to help me chase these things down - it should have been done in 1996, but I let others do it until 2001 and then I had to set out on my own. A long time ago I made the following Post. Since I haven't had a dream about him in a long time - maybe he has moved on. The last time was about a yr ago when he showed up as a "homeless" man in a dream (more like a nightmare). Last summer we had so many homeless in our area and I helped out when I could. Then one night I had the following dream. The Dream - Nightmare! This was a waterfront park and Duane was walking toward me and he looked like a homeless man. I said to him "I thought you were dead". Then I said "You must be hungery". I then took this homeless Duane look alike into a little restaurant to feed him. I excused myself for just a moment and when I looked back this man and my purse was gone. I ran thur a small gate at the entrance to the restaurant and my purse was hanging broad side with the shoulder strap on this small gate. My wallet had been removed which contained my credit cards, Id and some cash. My car keys had also been removed. Running (which I cannot do) toward the parking lot - I saw my car missing. This is when I woke up. Duane had come back one more time to warn me - not to be so trusting. I felt like this dream was a message (because I was too visible in helping the homeless). I spoke with a deputy about a couple of the men I had helped and they were thieves with long records. Duane had come back to warn me. Trust no one because not everyone is as they seem. I may have told this story back when it happened, but something reminded me of this dream...while I was watching the history channel tonight. Just a man in a bar scene whose eyes and eye brows where the only things visible - this clip was from 1942....small things trigger old memories...like an expression. I do not know WHAT was in that Wallet, but I WAS given 2 different stories. I know I am obsessive about this - because NO one can erase what I saw with my own eyes. The bag, the ticket stub, the airline ticket and the things he told me and showed me...the complete history of his actions over the yrs - and the subsequent events. If you believe that I am obsessive to the point of fantasizing - NO, I am not. A blessing to let something go! This is exactly why our country is in the situtuation it is now - too many people turing their heads and looking the other way. . Which is why I go on and on - hoping beyond all hope something will turn up. Hoping the FBI will do something and that someone is really listening. Hoping not all of this has been buried for eternity and there will be that one small thing I will say or remember or will be found that will bring this case to closure. . That is easy for you to say, but - what would you do if it was someone you had spent 17 yrs of your life with? Why should I let writers and others out there continue to - offer suspect after suspect - and destroy the lives and memories of individuals who may NOT have been the best of characters, but definitely were not Cooper? Regardless of how I do the posts they still go Poof. Doing them in word and then copying them to the thread they still have to be set-up. It just comes over to the post as a bunch of words...which is why I could never be a writer - because I do better just talking and that is what I do here - talk but, with my fingers. I am also emotional about this - because I know what I saw and what I held in my hands with my own eyes and I know what he told me and the things he showed me. Remember I am self-taught with what computer knowledge I do have - most 4 th graders know more about computers than I do. Sure I come down on the FBI because I don't feel they did what they should have done back yrs ago. I did not mean for that 90% to be taken as my referring to jumpers - I was referring to the population as a whole and not to anyone group. Most individuals within a particular class of people will be honest, but this man called me about the "Wallet with my Husband's Identification in it" and the second story did not match the first story - that and that alone is why I question the authorities NOT talking to him again. Had I know who Dan Cooper was in 1995 - I would have handled it very differently. How many of you can claim that you never took anything that was not yours in your life? I took a candy bar when I was 7 yrs old. What would you do if you had taken even (1) twenty out of the wallet or found it somewhere in the van as you were cleaning it up? Be realistic here. Not everyone is totally 100% honest 100% of the time...it would be a wonderful world if it was, but that is just not how it is. I wonder if the government was still recording old serial numbers in 1995 before they were destroyed....this would be an interesting question and one that needs to be answered. 377: Twice now I have done a reply to your post and twice it has gone POOF. It was about the wallet - the man who bought the Van called me and told me he had found my husband's wallet, but the contents of that wallet were for John C. Collins...this was military papers, drivers licenses and the Commutation of sentence. I told him I had my husband's wallet and didn't know what he was talking about. He returned the wallet one wk later and at that time told me he didn't know what was in the wallet that he didn't look inside. It was over 2 yrs before the FBI went to see him and they never got my opinion about what the man told me . Remember that when I sold the van to him in May of 1995 I did NOT know who Dan Cooper was. They would not interview the purchaser of the VAN until late 1997 or in early 98 - I do have that info in my files, but am making this brief so it will not go POOF for the 3rd time and it is almost 4 AM here. Also remember that at the time he found the WALLET he nor I knew who DAN Cooper was. What else was with that wallet? The 2 stories make me wonder and his wife would NOT talk to me at all ...when I went to their home about a yr after the FBI went to see them. If the widow was unaware of the wallet what else might I have been unaware of. Also where he said he found the wallet - both Ann and I searched the overhead compartment and there was NOTHING there. I believe it was hidden inside of the seats he changed out (he took the seat out of the rear on the right and used it to replace the Front drivers seat (the van had 4 captains seats). No one asked him if there was an old bag or some papers? It was just an old bank bag with the name of the bank on it and it did not have a handle, but it was clean and crisp and folded up. Why I have always asked if anyone ever made Cooper souveniers. Neither the husband or wife where required to take a polygraph..I told the FBI about the 2 stories - that should have been reason for a polygraph. The FBI did NOT do its job...had they have done their job they would understand why I question the above actions. To this day I still think there was more than that wallet found. Why was Duane so upset about my driving the VAN while he was in the hospital and asking me every day if I locked it. He never told me where to find whatever it was he hid in the wallet - if he did I was NOT listening. What would you do if you found something the wife did not know existed in an old van you purchased? What position would you be in if 2 yrs later the FBI is asking about a couple of hundred dollars you might have found in that old van you bought? What would you do if the FBI questioned you about it 2 yrs later? Especially if you had been informed this man had confessed to a high profile crime. I have very good reason to believe there was something else with that wallet - perhaps a bag or some other papers they just thought was trash of no value. How many of you would have returned a couple of hundred dollars in 20's to the widow? If you are honest here - 90% of you would have kept it. In 1990 Duane purchased several gold coins - I didn't know how we could afford this (I never saw a sales ticket) - he later sold one of them because he said someone offered him a good price - I do not know how someone could make money off of a gold coin in just a couple of yrs. Remember, he emptied out a safe deposit box before he died and left only the 1994 Soldier of Fortune magazine. At this time this is just something personal I need to see for myself - because I thought I recognized that man. Did Busch ever live down around the Riverdale area (a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia)...even if it was not Riverdale it was probably in Clayton, County. I am asking this question because we went to a party down there - there were lots of cars and the host was a race car driver. Even my daughter remembers this...but neither of us knew who he was. It was quiet a party - and there were pictures and awards all - over the place. I have had a hard time remembering what yr. this was. It could have been before we moved to CO so that would be 1977..,weather was still nice outside. The other time would have been after we came back to Atlanta 1981 - 1982 (Approx)...as my daughter was also with us at that time. The only thing I know was it was Race Cars - but I know absolutely nothing about Race Cars and I knew no one there. I believe I discussed this before either here or in person with someone else. I am sure there is NO connection and this party (a daytime party with families) and Duane knowing any one related to race care driving is just sheer co-incidence. I had thought this happened in Alabama, but I was mistaken about this - and corrected by my daughter. I am getting old and recalling my life is getting more difficult each yr...I even thought maybe it was with another boyfriend and before I met Duane - but, my daughter says No. Seems before when this came up stock car racing was suggested - NO, it was not. It would be great if some of these individual could tell their side of this. The only names on there I am familiar with are West and Hooper. Did you mean Ralph Hartley or Ralph Hatley? SLUGGO: That list was really good - but I will ask the same Question: Who is this Bush character or are you having some fun with all of this. Seems like so far Weber is the only one lacking proof of a jumping back-ground. Will exclude Busch for now?
