Freefliers using full face helmets.....question for you.
CarloC replied to Vectracide's topic in Freeflying
I guess thats the advantage of the Factory Diver, since the visor is fixed, that kind of problem wont happen. Blue ones! -
I need tips for proper Factory Diver helmet fit.
CarloC replied to funfall's topic in Gear and Rigging
Yes she did! Its a pretty cool helmet and you will love it, same as i did! Blue ones! -
WTF?????????? Are you for real dude? Blue ones!!!

Totally agree, even though i dont swoop yet, i bought one to freefly with. If you are a hardcore swooper, Julio makes a swoop pant all padded with cordura on the outside. www.liquidskysports.com Blue ones!

Add a zero in that, its twenty three thousand jumps 23.000 Later

You got that right. I used to have a 6 pack abs before started skydiving, the only 6 pack i see now is the ones i drink at the end of the day.

Jadera, it is basically a Fiber Glass shield. I found a few pictures that you can use as a model. Blue ones!!!

Its just plain STUPID!!! I friend of mine did that, he waited to his Cypress to fire at 750 ft because he could not find his main pud, he had changed from Leg to BOC. That stupid action made him land in the middle of the city and he has a lot of metal in his legs and spent almost 2 years without jumping and 6 months in a wheel chair. He did not pull the silver because he knew his cypress would work.

If its a good deal, you can buy the helmet and build a cover to protect the audibles, is easy to make one and very secure. Some one here did one for a helmet like yours and it looked preety good! Blue ones!

Hey Jadera, i use a Hurricane Helmet with 2 pro dytters on the outside of the helmet. If you use the clip and the rubber bands, it wont fall off of your helmet. The Hurricane is build in a way that if the riser strikes the helmet it will not get near the audibles. If you search the forum, you will find a few topics of people that lost their audibles, but 99% of them did not secure it very well. Hope i can help! Blue ones!

Julio does make a bad ass suit, i have a swoop pants that i just love! But as i recall he makes the suit the way you want it to, i asked for a slim fit and that is the way my pants came. The fit is perfect!

Been offered a Pro Dytter - Is it worth buying?
CarloC replied to humanflite's topic in Gear and Rigging
Only if the Pro Dytter you bought was brand new. The helmet clip comes with the audible for free. But most people throw it away since almost every helmet you can put the audible inside the helmet. You can buy a spare one for about 6 bucks! -
Sending Gear to Australia. customs??
CarloC replied to CarloC's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Sorry if it sounded like i was trying to beat the system. 15% is pretty fair in my opinion. I asked that because here in Brazil, anything that gets to customs has almost 70% taxation if is above US$ 50,00 If i declare a canopy as US$ 1000 i will have to pay US$ 700,00 in taxes alone if the customs here get it, i dont think is fair Blue ones guys!!! -
Sending Gear to Australia. customs??
CarloC replied to CarloC's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Yeah, i will declare as $ 950 AUD. Do you think is better if i declare as a gift or as repair? Thanks for the replys guys Blue ones! -
Sending Gear to Australia. customs??
CarloC replied to CarloC's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Hello, i did a search here and on the web and did not found anything. I wonder if anyone here ever sent a gear to Australia and can give me a idea how customs works over there. Can i declare full price since insurance is a must? If the guy im selling has to pay taxes, how much porcentage would it be? In this case is a US$ 1000 canopy. Later -
What a Douche bag! I hope that with this video you can get your gear back and this jerk gets what he deserves. Blue ones!

Keep rocking Julio and Liquid Sky. -
do's and don't of selling stuff on dropzone.com
CarloC replied to cfdflyer's topic in Gear and Rigging
Could you please tell me what is the matter of selling stuff for a over seas skydiver? All my gear i bought trough Dropzone.com and i paid using PayPal and everything went great. I did great business and made a few friends with this. Sounds like lame prejudice that i came across a few times in the adds. If you sell overseas, ask for PayPal and wait for the money to clear, check his background here at dropzone.com. If the buyer is from the U.S use a rigger as a scrow and you will not have any issues. Happy selling! -
That looks very overkill and very uncomfortable too. A little paranoid in my opnion. Blue ones and stay safe!

In this particluar case, this Vigil 2 in the video was showing a Error message on the display. He chose to jump it anyway, thats why this Vigil 2 on the video miss fired. Blue ones and stay safe!

best place to jump and work in brazil near top jiu jitsu schools
CarloC replied to 2shay's topic in Events & Places to Jump
There is only one big dropzone in Brazil, is located in Boituva, near Sao Paulo, wich is the biggest city in the country. It has 3 Caravans and a Skyvan on the way, maybe next month, tickets skyrockted and costs US$ 60,00 to 12 grand. Its a huge country, but all the others dropzones operates with little cesnnas. Edited to add: Since Sao Paulo is the biggest city in the country, im pretty sure you will find the top jiujitsu schools. -
No idea what caused the canopy to blow. Any ideas?
CarloC replied to skittles_of_SDC's topic in Safety and Training
Could be! But when i found the canopy a few weeks later, it was such a mess, that i didn´t even had the mood to send it to my rigger to check it out. It Seemed easier to buy a new one.
