I suppose I shouldn't stoke the fires of these threads like this with sarcasm. Give Turkey just about whatever they want - they are the buffer between the West and radical movements.

How about - if you let us in we won't bomb our way in?
-
That's a new level of sloth yup

Depends . . . . Most of the time releasing the other break will correct the spin. If you find yourself spinning on your back / extremely fast cutaway, don't waste time going for the other handle.

Embarassed to admit I needed google to solve - Legendary criminal played by Treat Williams in a 1981 movie edited to include the clue - doh

Not enough bombed here marks. Shouldn't we cover most of Japan, Europe, Panama, etc, etc.
-
Doubtful seeing that it was a Russian Jet.

No wonder the Cobalt post volume has decreased . . . .

Hmmmmm New job started Tuesday with much better $$ potential. Jumps for the year paid for (at least the first 100) I sense a new canopy

I try and find time every week to read it cover to cover. If I'm flying or commuting on a train I generally get it done - but other weeks its tougher. For those who haven't read it - think Times/US News / etc. Now remember those magazines are written using 3rd grade english and perhaps 5th grade logic. The Economist is written for educated adults who don't want to be babied and also who want a global perspective, not just their country.

"I pray for a nympho with huge boobs who owns a dropzone and liquor store. " You beat me to the exact same reply Although it might be better if she owned a golf course - I think the income potential is a bit better.

Recent workout music favorites include Garbage, Moby (fast stuff), and Smashing Pumpkins. Folk and bluegrass are great to listen to but fail to keep me going at the gym.

ual.com at least if you're flying to/from Chicago

Do we really need another political/war/Iraq/Korea thread?
mattb replied to skybytch's topic in The Bonfire
I think cnn.com has bulletin boards to debate politics on. Talk Back was a lot more fun when it was jokes, pics, personal stories, etc. and not mudslinging. -matt -
You might want to try posting at SDC's bulletin board as well - http://www.skydivechicago.com/forum/index.php Make sure to specify ORD or MDW for your airport as well. Sorry I can't help - wedding preparations are preventing jumping trips. (There is a reason the wedding was scheduled in March!)

Thank you very much!

Years ago (Win NT) you could just download the resource kit. Now after searching the web site I'm confused - is it a product you buy or a series of downloads that are poorly organized? http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/techinfo/reskit/tools/default.asp doesn't list a kill command Thanks for sending it if possible. Matt

Only in Windows is Media Player a system thread. I mistakenly let Windows Media Player update itself and now it fails to open about 50% of video clips and hangs forever. arggghhhh

How do I kill a runaway process in Windows? Is this possible? I know how to use the task manager but often it says "access denied" if I try to kill a hung program. TIA - Matt

Just wondering what everyone's thoughts were about posting the same message in multiple forums. -matt

Railroad unions are a whole different catagory of union - possibly more protected than government jobs.

So the "half your age" rule would apply to years, not # of repacks. Makes more sense.
-
Is that jumps or repacks ? ? ? Assuming a lot of skydivers are 20-30 that could translate to 10-15 repacks or 3-5 years. I haven't heard anything that low for the lifespan of a reserve before.

Sunrise Rigging(Wings)...dealings with me (cross-post)

What is your reason for wanting to move it?
