It's for their own good, you see, as well as ours. Mark word. edit: by which I mean I recognise that skydivers and motorcyclists (of which I am both) are at greater risk of injury than people who play bingo for fun. I'm not a fan of paying more for insurance, but I'm not willing to accept higher premiums for higher risk policy holders as discrimination.     I disagree. You're not hearing people say they suck, just that they need armor. They have a nice BIG screen which is a bit fragile without the new armor, but all their features more than make up for it. I LOVE my neptune, all the features are awesome. The Viso has some wierd plastic case that you need to use to wrist/hand mount which I don't trust to not open (though it should act as armour). The best thing about the neptune compared to the VISO is that it has a graphical LCD as compared to the VISO's segmented LCD which allows it to display a lot more information.     With you there. I grew up on a 215 Falcon. It was a very good first canopy - though due to a combination of it's inability to cut into the wind, my newness as a canopy pilot, and my unwillingness to sit out whenever the winds were over 5 mph; I think I probably had the highest percentage of off-DZ landings than anybody in Baldwin for about 2 or 3 years running. No emergencies, just a lot of alfalfa and wheat field landings. Got to know most of the neighbors. For what it's worth, it was the first F111 canopy I flew after learning to fly on PD Navigators. The Nav 200 is my current favorite, and compared to it, the Falcon flew as though there were some sort of pilot->esperanto->canopy translation going on. I'll concede that I may be mixing up Zp/hybrid vs. F111 and Falcon vs. Other canopies, but the openings were consistantly painful.     To clarify, the suitmaker said that he wanted to put "normal booties" on my suit, given my jump numbers. Admittedly they could be just doing this so I get a new suit in a while, but I'm inclined to believe not since they're known (from reviews and posts in this forum) to make very high quality suits and have excellent coustomer service. But damnit, I cant help but want megas. That said, getting another suit in a year or two wouldn't be the end of the world.
