Yeah, but I wouldn't want to do it all day long. Also, I popped the brakes and did a control check first and foremost. Long spots and traffic rarely seemed to be a problem when doing tandems.

I find this religion particularly interesting in that it is not very old and its origins are well documented. It is facinating to me that people can be armed with all this knowledge and still be compelled to be followers. The book I read is called "Porter Rockwell - The Black Saint of Mormondom". I recommend it for all people of christian faiths because it is objectively written (by a mormon) and it is a great book about settling the west as well.

Years ago while on a business trip to American Fork, Utah I picked up a book about Porter Rockwell and the history of the Mormon religion. I'm just curious if the religion teaches about this man in particular and its history in general.

Again, that is context. Without it, people will feel the need to create one, such as: what a racist piece of troll crap. In this case they would be wrong, but they didn't know that until you gave it context.

That is context. Now you have something to talk about. If you would have included that in the original post, it would have stopped a page worth of posts from people wondering what the purpose of the original post was.

If your definition of a "troll" is anyone who starts a conversation on a controversial topic, then I think this place would be pretty dull if it wasn't for your so-called "trolls". Dropping that text onto the forums with no context is not indicitive of starting a conversation on a controversial topic, its trolling. If you provide a context, then there is something to debate. If not, you're just stirring the pot to see what floats to the top. ......as if that's unusual.

As a San Diego transplant in Colorado, I can definitively say that Colorado drivers are the worst I have ever seen - anywhere in the US, Canada, Mexico and Japan. Seriously, do you not learn that its generally a bad idea to merge onto the highway at 30 mph? The skinny pedal on the right makes the car go faster. Is there something in drivers ed that teaches you to habitually run red lights? Especially when making a left turn across 4 lanes of traffic? Why does everyone drive 55 here regardless of the speed limit or conditions? You are in my way when the conditions are good and in the ditch when the conditions are bad. I will grant you that whoever is in charge of Civil Engineering here should suffer a slow, painful and public death, and that only adds to the fact that the people in Colorado are the worst drivers on the planet. MAN - that felt good.

I have the same setup as well. Personally, I think it looks a bit silly. I did it to give my sidemount camera a little more room. Worked great. One cutaway with the smaller risers - didn't seem any different than the larger risers.

In the early days of the cypress this may have been very valid, but in the last couple of years I don't think that rule really had much to do with it.

If you must put it on a leg strap, don't put it on your right side. The motion of reaching and deploying can dislodge the hook knife with bad results. I have personally witnessed a friend deploy his hook knife into the lines of his main. It cut two of them. The reserve ride was uneventful but the video was pretty cool in frame by frame.
