Ok, the car has been fixed. The dealer called on Monday and said it was the multiplexer control unit and it would take two days to get the part. The part came in on Thursday and the dealer installed the multiplexer and that didn't fix it. Apparently, there was a loose ground connection under the bumper but they didn't tell me if it was under the front or rear bumper but they said they had to pull the bumper off the car to get to the ground point. My wife’s' 03 Civic EX has turned into Christine and developed a mind of its own. The car has about 15k miles and it has some serious electrical issues. Today the power door locks stopped working, the intermittent wipers don't work with the switch although the wipers will move on their own with the switch in the off position. When you hit the power door lock switch, the instrument cluster lights will flash on and off. When you turn on the emergency flasher / hazard switch, there is a buzzing noise from under the dash. The turn signals don't work, the indicators on the cluster will not even light up. The power windows work intermittently. Has anyone else had electrical issues with their 2003 Civics? The car is at the dealer now and they gave me a loaner CRV to play with until her car is fixed. Big Ed

How did you mount that to a protec? I recently bought a HC40 but I don't have any plans on jumping it anytime soon. I know i need more experience before strapping a camera to my head. Do you have pictures of the pro-tec setup? Big Ed

Food poisoning from breakfast. Go in the bathroom and make a lot of noise from the stall and make sure a co-worker hears it and then go tell the boss your not feeling good. I was done with my daily work at 11A and I got here late today. Big Ed

I keep my Neptune inside my cheap Pro-Tec. Yeah it is a little tight on the ear, but I haven't lost it yet. I thought about mounting it on the outside but changed my mine after reading about riser strikes on the forums here. I've heard stories of people calling L&B and them sending out a new Pro Track after a customer has lost one due to a riser strike. Try this one and this one. Big Ed

I learned to drive a stick on an old Ford truck with a 3 speed on the column. It used to freak people out when I would try to put it in "reverse" while driving down the road. My current car has a 5 speed automatic. Big Ed

Have you tried Apple Bitter? It was designed for houseplants but works well for other items and should be available at any pet store. It tastes like shit, I found out by mistake, and it keeps the dog from chewing on anything that it is sprayed on. My wife-to-be has a shih-tzu who like to chew on the TV if there is another dog on the screen. I sprayed the wood around the TV and the TV plastic casing with apple bitter and now that little shit thinks twice about licking or chewing on the TV. I don't know if "marking your territory" would work or not. Good luck with the dog. Big Ed

Bottle caps are bad and spoons will dance around and make some funny noises. The handle of the spoon will also have some new interesting designs when it comes out. Big Ed

I was in bed by 11p and then up at 5 to let the dogs out and then back to sleep until 7a. Now I'm at work and it is almost 8:30a EST and I'm the first one here. Getting old sucks but I got some great sleep last night. Big Ed

There is a sign near the driveway that says “Absolutely no pets allowed" You might want to call and check just to make sure, I've seen a couple of dogs out there in the past. Big Ed
