I just heard something about a small plane crashing into a house in Fort Lauderdale. Looks like it just happened and little is known yet. Thoughts to the families of those killed (you know there has to be at least 1, the pilot).

My parents took me to Disney World when I was 3. The only memory I have of it is being beyond terrified on Magic Mountain. When I was 11 we went to Disney Land. All day I my greatest fear was getting on Magic Mountain. The entire time we were in line for it I kept having flashbacks to being 3 and terrified. I ended up getting on it and loving it in the end. If you're going to take them that's fine, just don't take them on Magic Mountain until they're a bit older.

Agreed. Same with EMS folks. When you're around that much death you have to distance yourself somehow or you'd lose your mind. I've seen a couple people who weren't able to cope with it well and it wasn't easy to watch them in their self-destructive state. I think humor is the most common and easiest way of dealing with it.

Out of shear curiosity I begged Bolas to tell me what he had posted. It took a while and he finally told me. I will agree that it was very offensive. Even I will not repeat the words he said.
