    The short track judges are MORONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a Canadian who fell, a Canadian judge and it's on Canadian soil. Coincidence? I think not!!!!!!!!!!!

    Also a lot of Air Force, Army and Navy guys there. My brother was stationed there for 3 years (he's Air Force). Half of that island is US Military Bases. It's absolutely beautiful. I got to visit for 2 weeks while my brother was there. It's sad to think of all the wonderful sites that were probably damaged in the quake.

    If you don't have any luck with the early route I'll be passing by the airport around 7pm that day on my way down. I know that's pretty late but it's an option.

It's something different every time. you mean...your not only go to show up but you are actually going to jump as well??? ahahahaha - will have to catch up to you in the sky We should do a dropzone.com postwhore load. This thread has 650 post, i think there will be a few postwhore's there....... Ok...who is for getting shirts with our dz.com name on them? Obviously we will all know who Billy is cause he's the only one who won't respond when someone yells out his name. But for the rest of us it's hard to know who is who without asking every single person at the boogie, "What is your dz.com name?" Even if we don't get official dz.com shirts. Everyone should buy a little cheap name tag or write their name in sharpie on a plane white t-shirt. Then we can forgo the uncomfortable silence while wondering, "Who is this person on dz.com?" while talking to them.

    While watching the Skeleton I couldn't help but notice that some of the helmets they are wearing look exactly like Z1's only with fancier paint jobs. Anyone else notice this? Edited to add: Ice dancing may be boring...but as someone who competed in it for 6 years it is incredibly hard. With the compulsory dance everyone is doing the same thing. Something as simple as forgetting to point your toes can cause you to lose. You have to think about what every finger and every toe is doing.

    I say it depends on the days activities. If we've just been relaxing and not really doing much then I would be concerned. If I've spent the day packing tandems at the DZ and am dripping in sweat then a shower is an absolute must.

    You could have saved yourself some money by keeping your mouth shut. It would have been a dead giveaway anyway when I was the only girl not fighting for the special seat because I don't know which one it is.

    I'll be watching. Not sure if I'll see the whole thing though since I have to be up at 6am tomorrow for work. I'm going to watch as much of the figure skating as possible. I was a competitive skater for about 8 years and still greatly enjoy watching it.

    The only wildlife that may be in the bunkhouse would be the many Farm Animals that run around that place. All joking aside, it is a very clean place to sleep.
