  1. Evidently, I said this to Iluvtofly at some point and time "....My mind gets a little fuzzy about 2 bars before the one we got kicked out of." Yes...yes you did. And I was laughing my ass off.
  2. And that's how I started the story all weekend.
  3. She's kinda missing the enitre point No...I'm well aware of what you guys are saying. ETA...I don't even know why it's being discussed in this thread. It was in no way a part of the situation that occured. It was only brought up because of a video over 2 years old that I posted on facebook. It's because people care.

  5. Didn't think about that till after. As I told John Mitchell, hind sight is 20/20. I was trying to do a one handed pull up while trying to flip the chest strap over the hook with the other hand. Probably would've worked better had I just done a pull up with both hands.
  6. I only wear it on days that I'm packing. It's the only way I don't lose it. But if I'm on the plane and notice I forgot to take it off I'll throw it in my pocket.
  7. I haven't jumped with that on in a long time. That balloon video was from 2 years ago. It was a case of me being in a hurry. I often forget I'm even wearing it. But after having it whack me in the chin and neck on a couple of jumps I quickly learned to take it off.
  8. Not at the time. But after watching the video a few times I did. Hind sight is 20/20. But if I ever get in that situation again (although I would think I've learned my lesson on this particular situation) then I have a feeling I would do it differently. I was just lucky we were the first ones out and there was someone in there to help me. Another interesting thing, talking to the pilot later that day about what happened he said he could have easily landed with me hanging like that. He would have simply hovered a few feet off the ground while I got myself unhooked. Now THAT would have been an interesting flight and story.
  9. Yup, working on it. It's kind or hard to tell what's going on from my point of view. But, even after all that I still managed to get a great shot of Jay's exit.
  10. I also see it as a good lesson. You need to be VERY aware of little things like that. I can tell you for sure no one else at the boogie made the same mistake as me. They all knew to look for that thing before they slid down to hang.
  11. Did the one who gave you a hand, actually help? Or did you release it pretty much yourself? He was able to pull me up just enough for me to get unhooked. I don't think I could have done it without his help.
  12. I wanna see YOU do a one handed pull up. But it is a good thing I've started going to the gym again.
  13. No exactly the word going through my mind at the moment.
  14. So I had an interesting helicopter jump on Saturday. When watching the video you'll see a little hook on the skid to my left...yeah, my chest strap go caught on one of those. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtGDarulOpo&feature=youtube_gdata
  15. I believe DHP -1 will also be there. Wonder who will be doing a shot from his cleavage? Probably no one cause Doc won't be there.
  16. But it's always so much fun when someone yells your name accross the hanger just for someone else to yell, "Hey dumbass, that doesn't work with him!"
  17. I'll be at the Farm this weekend doing initiation jumps. Just bring your corset. I've already got 2 wanting to do it. The more the merrier.
  18. Congrats on the tandem rating!!! That's awesome.
  19. :1:0 Only one jump but it was interesting to say the least. It was from a hellicopter and my chest strap got stuck on a hook on the skid so I was basically dangling by my chest strap. A tad bit on the terrifying side. But it all turned out ok and there's video of the entire thing. I'll post it after I get home from work and edit it.
  20. You know why a bride smiles so big on her wedding day? She knows she's given her last blow job.
  21. I use a yardstick personally. Twigs from the back yard are not yard sticks... DING DING DING!!!
  22. [replyI think she might even like a few of us. Nah...she's just a really good actress. All that time she was nice to you at Fitzgerald was just a ploy to lul you into a false sense of security.
  23. Yes there will be a helicopter...along with a balloon. I know the balloon is $85. Not sure how much the hellicopter is. And to my knowledge they'll both fly so long as there are people wanting to jump.
  24. I recieved a picture of a dz.commers nuts painted gold... along with several others on the old dz.com dd list... that was a little disturbing but not entirely unexpected since he informed us he would be doing it... I miss the old DD list. And I remember when Broke did that to his nuts. I was the first person he sent the pics to. I immediately called him up and laughed at him for being such a dumbass.
