My thought of the day is the fact that it's hump day. So you can imagine where my mind is. Bump

I personally like Wendy's idea of him posting a picture of him all dressed up and looking nice. That would be the biggest shocker to anyone. Bump BTW...I'm now putting bump at the end of all my posts.

People who insist on driving 10 mph UNDER the speed limit when it's bright and sunny and not a cloud in the sky. I seem to get stuck behind these peolpe every single day to and from work.

Weirdest place you've misplaced your cell phone.

Isn't an iPhone covered for ANY damage to it if it's in an Otterbox? I heard someone saying this weekend that's why they bought one. Caues if for any reason it breaks while in the Otterbox it's completely covered. -

Actually someone new just took over the Snack Shack. Prices are great and food is even better. It takes a little longer to get it but it's worth the wait. -
That's just mean getting all the guys' hopes up like that.

Not quite a year ago on a drunken crappy weather Saturday there was a small group of us hanging out in the loft. I jokingly made a comment to the one guy, "If you buy me this camera helmet I'll give you free pack jobs for life." To my surprise he forked over the cash and gave me the helmet. For different reasons I've packed maybe 5 times for him since. When I got my new job I told him that I would pay him back once I got the money. He said he didn't want me to pay him back but to pay it forward when I had the chance. Not even a week later I won a new Altitrack from the Leap For Lupus boogie. Since I already had one I immediately knew that I was going to give it away to someone who needed/deserved it. Several weeks later it came to my attention that one of the video guys at my dz had an altimeter that would crap out several times every jump. I know him and his wife very well. They work hard for every dollar they get and barely scrape by. Needless to say he was like a 5 year old boy getting the toy of his dreams from Santa Clause when I handed him the altitrack. He still gets the biggest smile on his face everytime he sees me. Nothing could make me happier than knowing that I was able to help someone else who needed it.

Atlanta peeps- anything still happen at Neighbors on Wed?
iluvtofly replied to Iago's topic in The Bonfire
We still get together on Wednesday's just not at neighbors. It's now at Rocky Mountain Pizza at 10th and Hemphill...then we go down the road to Mr. C's for beer and pool. -
Thanks. I tried to stay as calm as I could. But I was worried about what would happen if I couldn't get unstuck. As I said before, talking to the pilot later he said he could have landed with me like that. But that thought never once crossed my mind. So there was a bit of panic inside my head. Well, what if he was lowering you to the ground and your chest strap broke or ripped free and you end up too low to do anything about it? Exactly why THAT probably would have been the scariest moment of my life. But if I had been the last one out and wasn't able to get myself off of there what else would I have been able to do?

Well hello there. Deedy

Here is the video from my camera. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HbzHwjiaUNw Was that a GoPro? I wonder how many people do that - it seems like it would be a common snag point if you are a bumpy brother. . . . and side note . . . if you stare into the sun too much it will burn your camera up. Not a GoPro...a CX100. And thanks for the tip on the sun.

I'm not on that end of the billing...I'm in accounts receivable for an urgent care company. I sometimes get payments from insurance companys for bills that are 2 or 3 years old.
