  1. We can always count on Billy to lighten the mood of a thread.... and in this case - oddly enough - put it somewhat back on topic!!
  2. Naw, just a big red X over top of them. It's a bit more dramatic!!
  3. C'mon... Who here said anything about you having a right wing agenda. Seriously, it seems in every post where you go on about the left, or the CBC, or Toronto, you take such extreme tangents. Sure. Blame the media. Better yet, blame CityTV and their sensationalistic view of news. But to contiue to bash a city of 2.2 million (or 5.5 if you think the entire GTA) as being marxist, you really don't come across as rational.
  4. Is that it? Edit: Now with attachment goodness!!
  5. Do you have another link to this article? The CityNews video that you provided is the only one I could find. That video does not quote the police as saying they were all legal and stored properly. Remember, don't believe everything the media tells you.
  6. I liked it as well! Good background information - things you don't normally see in the media when they talk about skydiving. Nicely done!
  7. So it really wasn't against the law. You can deal with that any way you'd like. Some people choose to ignore idiots like that, others have to confront them. I get that. As far as not being qualified, sure - that could be an issue. But if someone hires an employee just based on the statement "I was in the military", then they are an idiot. Double check qualifications, call references, and if all else fails, have them demonstrate their ability.
  8. But it seems that the OP was just an issue with some douche bragging at the water cooler. And warped's issue with the guy at the climbing gym. Does Stolen Valor actually cover people claiming service or affiliation? If some moron working at the WalMart says he was a SEAL, but wasn't - is that against the law?
  9. Please let us know... I've been through mouth switches, tongue switches and bite switches and none of them are working as well as I'd like. Thinking of getting this switch as well.
  10. Don't you see? That's COMPLETELY different. RIGHT = Bad LEFT = Good Haven't we established this yet?
  11. On the first day of the Olympics, Hitler was congratulating all the German athletes. After the first day, the Olympic committee said he would have to congratulate all the athletes or none of them. He chose to congratulate non of them. He never had any interaction with Owens.
  12. ...Doctors. I think he's talking about doctors.
  13. Just tell him to remember these 5 words. "There's always time for lube!!!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vq1FNIGap-0
  14. Wow. That is an exclusive club. You could have it be even more exclusive by making it the "Winter Olympic gold medal winners...." Suck it Donovan Bailey!!!!
  15. You can teabag people in Halo? Hmm. No wonder it's such a popular game...
  16. Oh, did I mention they're members of the NRA? And they are tea baggers.... ....and climate change deniers....
  17. I blame it on all the left wing, neocon, immigrant lesbians truthers. There. If that's doesn't get this thing moved, nothing will.
  18. Wow, you guys are really trying to get this moved to Speakers Corner, aren't you??
  19. A Møøse once bit my sister ...
  20. Hook up with the Norwegian girls from the thread in the Women's Forum.
  21. I was thinking the same. Was there no one who was Wes' right hand man? Someone who could take over the business? I realize that for the last few years, he wasn't making them regularly, but with the interest that is still evident, couldn't some interested party look at beginning production again?
  22. Is claiming that oneself is/was a SEAL a violation of the Stolen Valor Act? I thought it only concerned itself with medals/decorations/awards, etc and not with claims of service?
  23. Yes, I have as a matter of fact... And so has everyone in this [url "http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=3798007;page=unread#unread"]other thread [url]
  24. Clara Hughes - 2006 Winter Games in Turin. After winning silver in the team pursuit long track speed skating, she was feeling somewhat unmotivated to compete in the 5000K. She watched a special on Olaf Koss' 'Right to Play' and felt re energized. She ended up winning the gold medal and emptied her personal savings to donate $10,000 to Right to Play - this was before any sort of bonus paid to Canadian athletes when they won gold!! The look on her face when she crossed the finish line in first place was absolutely priceless!!
