Yes, Well, I had a friend who had his jaw broken in his girlfriends thighs... she was an equestrian competitor. But hey, you can still skydive with a broken jaw! -

Yeah, so on my 16th jump (my first time landing off), I came down on final to be surprised I was heading toward an uphill slope, flared and forgot to properly PLF. (At least I missed the powerlines, trees, roads, houses, animals, and ponds) I had great AFF instructors, read the SIM, no equipment malfunctioned except my brain, so here's my question... Whats crazier? Worrying about a skydiving injury affecting your sex life, or worrying about a sex related injury affecting your skydiving? -
Even if I weren't usually terrified, some tandems (e.g. the attached) just require keeping my eyes shut and my mind somewhere happier. What's that quote? "Of all the things I've lost in my life, it's my dignity I miss the most" ... or something like that. Blues, Dave OMG, is he eating a banana?

Wife rolls over in bed one night and asks... "If I died, do you think you would remarry?" I tell her, "Maybe, after a while, I would get lonely". "Would you still live here in this house", she asks. I reply "Probably, I love this house" "Would you sleep in this bed", she asks. "It's a good bed, I don't see a reason to replace it" I reply. "Would you let her use my rig?" she asks coyly.... "Nope, she has a lot more jumps and has her own"

Dropzones that allow 16 year olds
Fallin4U replied to salami88's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
From inquiring about it myself, it basically takes KNOWING and being close to a DZO to get him to allow a 16 yr old yo to jump. I have however heard second hand that Skydive Cancun is flexible. -
Ok, I have just 15 jumps, but they have been from the King Air, The Twin Otter, and the Caravan. Fav jump plane? The Twin Otter. (Skydive Deland)
-
Take a good look around your DZ there a quite a few people with what could be discribed as personality disorders it comes with the sport Hmm.. well I guess Obsesive Compulsives might be BETTER at packing. The thought is more along the lines of violence, suicidal tendencies... would you want that person jumping with someone you love?
-
The real question is do you tip before or after you jump with their pack job?
-
What comes to be the most disturbing thing about the story is it alledges the skydiver charged has a history of violence and a personality disorder. No one with issues like that should be skydiving and no one should let someone else skydive that they know about having issues like that! (When everyone is out to get you is it still paranoia?)

The DZO, Hans, personally introduced himself and made me feel at home. The atmosphere is a comfortable and relaxed farm with friendly people and varying levels of experience. The landing area, a skydiver heaven- acres of open land & minimal obstacles. The main jump plane is a Cessna Grand Caravan and a little slow to get to altitude but has a big door and comfortable bench/ floor seating. The AFF instructors and coaches are top notch and very professional. The view is beautiful farm and woodland of NW Georgia. There are a few little things that make the DZ 'differant' but not really better/ worse: No large screen TV. Children frequently present (keeps the swearing down). Good food nearby but no cafe onsite. A short bus ride to the airport Overall, an awesome dropzone.
