Oh, no argument there! None at all. TPM Sister #102

If it's any consolation, I'm sure they'd all be turned off immediately if they knew how stupid you think they are. TPM Sister #102

Uh oh. If he said she really liked it, you have trouble on your hands and your son is undoubtedly really happy! TPM Sister #102

Ouch! Kind of defeats the purpose! Well, when it's NOT all screwed up, Icy Hot is your friend. It also has that added bonus of not sounding geriatric, like Bengay. Doesn't mean I'm NOT geriatric, just means I'm getting to the age where I'd like to dodge that bullet. TPM Sister #102

Going out tonight Dinner and flying with friends Head-down happiness TPM Sister #102

Question for clarification: Does he just not actively say he loves you, or has he actually said that he DOESN'T love you? I think there's a world of difference between those two positions and I can't tell from your comments which it is. TPM Sister #102

What happy news!!! Post pics--of both tandem AND gear! TPM Sister #102

I think Icy Hot has an odor-free version out there now. You might want to try some you feel yourself tightening up between sessions. TPM Sister #102

I've never had the Salvation Army turn down anything, and they'll come to your house for the pick up. Might put them on your list next time! TPM Sister #102

Those kinds of things can really turn a bad day around. You get to be the hero!

HEY, we must have the same DVD!!!

LOL Okay, you can hold your own in the sappiness department! But it doesn't really count--the kids are ALLOWED to be sappy. They just love everybody and well they should! They have that cute factor that makes "sappy" perfectly reasonable. Coming from me, though, it just sounds . . . ah, well, too bad! It is what it is. And yes, of course, I love all our SVCO instructors too, and I'd be THRILLED to fly as well as any of them do. They are great to watch. TPM Sister #102

Good call on your part! You not only made a difference in his day, you just improved his winter. TPM Sister #102

What a sweet gesture! Not only did you do some very nice things for her, you obviously planned ahead. VERY impressive! TPM Sister #102

A good dip for strawberries is a package of cream cheese, 3/4 cup of brown sugar and 1/4 cup of white sugar. YUM. Oh, and DSE--you can plan MY menu ANYTIME (as long as someone who can actually cook is in charge of making it!). TPM Sister #102

Good! I'm glad I'm not alone. I still sit down on the bench and watch them fly once in a while. The comments of all the other observers are AWESOME (even when they're . . . "misguided" about what's going on and how it's done). The people who are flying are even better. You would think I'd get tired of it, but I don't! TPM Sister #102

I cannot possibly make any meaningful commentary in this thread by naming names. There are so many amazing flyers that I just love to watch, but I have to admit that the ones I really get entranced by are often the first-time flyers who have that hopelessly goofy grin on their face, a little drool splashed up on their goggles, a lot of swimming going on with their arms and legs, and a look of SHEER JOY that nothing can replace. Come to think of it, most of that probably still describes the way *I* look in the tunnel! It's like watching someone fall in love--and often times, that's exactly what's happening. I should know; it happened to me! Oh, my. Just re-read that. I don't know which is worse: the fact that it's so terribly sappy or the fact that I meant every word. TPM Sister #102

Great, now I have tunnel envy and I'm supposed to be WORKING instead of thinking about how I'm going to use my next 15-minute block. You ever see this stuff and somehow convince yourself that it looks so easy that next time, you'll do it JUST LIKE THAT--perfectly, of course, and with no tedious repetition to have to master the skill? Yeah, I'm ready for a 20-way HD. SURE I am! TPM Sister #102

I like 'em if they come with some nice Kung Pao sauce all over them. Otherwise, they're sort of . . . well . . . like nibbling wood. Soft wood. Maybe balsa. TPM Sister #102

Okay, I'll be honest: I know very little about Honest Abe. This is just a timeline, but it's more than I knew before: http://members.aol.com/RVSNorton/Lincoln23.html TPM Sister #102

If you don't already have it, you might also request that the VP provide you with a copy of the district's policy (and the school's policy, if they have one as well) about handling this kind of behavior. TPM Sister #102
